On one case (T76DBW/L4UPO) i ha to go via chassis number.

It might of been T76DBW/L4UPO. I had to determine it by chassis number (fortunately there was a pic of it on the vw website/parkers etc). It makes me pretty confident that the magazine i found is your car. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Driver-magazine-May-2003-Issue-36/133286106743?hash=item1f08789677:g:N9sAAOSwcWJb2E6E Edited December 31, 2019 by lupo1.0se
lupo1.0se
Ok. So the Major Debunk. It turns out L4UPO Green 1.4tdi Open air and L4UPO Blue 1.4tdi open air are the SAME CAR. I repeat the SAME CAR. How did this information come to light? While searching for Lupo press material (as i do) i noticed a seller had a load of press material bar lupo. Which got me wondering, did they sell some. It turns out they did. Which then came the huge discovery in that both cars are the same car. The blue car is a colour change image (photoshopped). Here is the evidence. As you can see in the top right and middle bottom. It clearly shows a green lupo in the exact same postions as the blue lupo, what confirmed it on the bottom image on the blue car, it still show green on the interior. I thought i'd update this due to this discovery. Edited February 1, 2020 by lupo1.0se

lupo1.0se
Update time. So L3UPO has been found (that being the Yellow Colour Concept Lupo featured on top gear). Real reg is X376XJO Interestingly it appeared up on Facebook market place for £500. The previous owner was going to scrap the car but fortuantely they did not have the time and subsquently this car has since been saved. I have recently been made road worthy too. I have pictures of it too (will ask if i can use a couple on here)

tigcraft
It’ll probably do stupid money and that’s because of the bonus plate history. Anyone want to guess the sale price??????
lupo1.0se
Yes i saw that. It is a similar story to claireyfairy where the numberplate what bought on retention after vw used it. So it is not a press car per say. I forwarded this onto the owner of the Lupo sport that had L4UPO (T35DWL) Edited April 23, 2021 by lupo1.0se
