The Penguin Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) The proverbial hens tooth; I managed to find an Arosa tdi with just 80k on the clock last December but given the ability of these engines to generate intergalactic mileages don't hold your breath. For the very same reason you shouldn't be deterred by such high mileages, buy on condition check the maintenance records but a thorough inspection should tell you all you need to know and the condition of the gearbox is far more important than the miles on the clock, everything else is fixable. I went to see a Lupo tdi local to me yesterday on ebay, the body and graphics are excellent as is the engine even at 200k miles but with so many other issues I've passed on it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Lupo-1-4TDI-Sport-Lowered-Coilovers/182655885781?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 but it will find a buyer.
