My 1.4 still needs fixing, which will be my 4th Lupo gearbox rebuild. My last 3L rebuild was because of a stripped 5th gear. I think the two gears alone were over £300 each. I think the main bearings should be listed as a service item, 75k miles can be too long. I'm trying some different oil this time, and I will change it more frequently.
