Conquistador
Recently replaced the nearside sidelight and when I tested the new bulb it didn't work. Not a problem, I thought, I'll try another 501... that didn't work either. Turns out no other bulbs worked in that slot and the nearside taillight is now out and doesn't work when I replace that with a new bulb too?! Any idea as to the cause and solution? I'm stumped. The brake light and headlight still work as they should. Edited October 18, 2016 by Conquistador
cj1
Does the other sidelight, and the other taillight also work?
Mobieus_uk
there should be a plug that connects the light cluster, unplug and inspect the connections for corrosion, if it unplugs too easily it may have not been plugged in properly to start with ans you have disturbed it
Conquistador
Sorry, didn't see these replies. Yes the driver's side lights all work as they should. And the light cluster plug seems fine, that wouldn't explain why the same side sidelight is dead too :/
