Sausage
Why are you breaking it? What year is it and how much for the whole car?
weslangdon
agree with Sausage, gearbox aside these are tough cars and worth repairing, what are its faults I think this is the advert https://www.gumtree.com/p/seat/seat-arosa-1.4-tdi-s-105bhp-remapped-breaking-/1188969119 Edited September 26, 2016 by weslangdon add advert, I knew I'd seen it somewhere
weslangdon
I have spoken to the seller, good engine and g/box but has had accident damage to the drivers front, alloy wheel, driveshaft snapped and intrusion into floor near the pedal box corner, he's also started dismantling the car in that he's dropped out the engine and g/box, a shame really as even as described it would repair. BenjaminCooke
That's correct including drivers airbag bag. engine and box have been droped and work fine had it remapped to 105BHP really fun to drive. I dropped it out to start braking for other rare tdi drivers for parts as I didn't think it was worth the repair to damage caused to body work and drive shaft and so on. The damage is unrecorded also still insured moted and taxed just sat out side. I didn't really think people would want to buy it in this condtion as complete as the reason I dropped the engine and gear out already to start breaking. weslangdon
the number plate might be worth a few quid too
Sausage
Yeah not worth repairing sadly and as it's pre Y plate i wouldnt have been interested anyway unless it was cheap enough. Good luck with the sale. I dont suppose the tyres are 195 55 14 (usually 185) and have good tread?
666DUB
Does that rear spoiler come off easily and can it be refitted to a Lupo , if it can hows it fitted and how much for it.

BenjaminCooke
I paid for the plate and put it on its an 2002 arosa the BJC part of the plate is my initials. tyres have good tread but one alloy and tyre didn't survive. And spoiler has been sold sorry.
Sausage
I realised after posting that was probably a private plate. Is the A pillar / body twisted as the door pillar is taped up?

weslangdon
I have fitted the rear door complete with spoiler in place of the damaged one on my wifes silver TDi, fitting the door and lock were very straightforward but the threading of the wiring through the C pillar has got me stumped, any ideas?
