Spring problems

I had some 40mm springs fitted by a friend today and now when I'm driving I hear a lot of moving around it seems, and when I turn my wheel I hear movement. Also wheels look almost as if they're cambered. Picture doesn't do justice.  Is this just because of the new springs needing to bed in or is there more too it?

Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance.

Are both sides the same? Can you say what you mean by "hear a lot of moving around"? If there's knocking or clunking check that nothing is loose etc. If it's squeaks and creaks then it might settle down.

From the pic it looks like the camber is way out (but that might be just the pic makes it look that way), so did he do up the bottom strut bolts and set the camber at all?

I suppose it could be considered creaking, by my knowledge no camber was set at all, just a case of old springs out new ones in?

I did a new spring and top mount on my mondeo a couple of weeks ago, it was quiet for MOT retest, then was creaking after that for a couple of days and now back to silence.

Camber would need looking at if the strut was separated from the hub carrier upright knuckle thingy as the adjustment is done on those bolts..

It's going to be tracked on Thursday so that should help with the alignment but I've gone over and tried tightening everything again to be sure so hopefully should be grand after that! Cheers for the help bro ??

Tracking wont change the camber though if it's out unless you mean they will be checking the camber and adjusting that too?

I took it there this morning and they said they would take the struts out and refit them if needed!
