GTI Rusty brakes and light levels.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys does anybody have any suggestions on what I can use to tackle rust on the outer parts of my disks. It looks so bad and the brakes have only been on the car for a few weeks. Also does anyone know where the correct positioning is for xenons? I've adjusted then manually but ideally I  would like them the way they should be as I've just guessed. Thanks

A wire brush and some high temperature paint on the brakes if that bothers you, but dont paint the swept braking area.

For the lights find some level ground with a wall and park dead on facing the wall about 10 foot away in the dark and adjust them, slightly down and to the left on dipped beam. MOT test will correct the beam if it's far enough out.
