Hi there guys just wondering if anyone had an experience with changing/replacing a fuel tank.

My lupo is a 2001 1.4 Petrol just wondering if anyone had any advice? taken the brackets off and disconnected all of the pipes my problem is with the filler neck. Do i have to remove the subframe or is there a connection where I can disconnect the two?

Thanks in advance

Hi there chap, had a look on the work system there,  it is Seat but in essence the same... by the looks of this its all one piece, doesn't seem to be a way to disconnect :( hopefully this screenprint works...  someone could prove me wrong!

edit: screenprint didn't work... ill try a pdf

Rear axle has to come off really, makes the job loads easier, very easy job, plus the osr arch liner to access a bolt or two holding the neck to the shell, and possible one inside the fuel flap itself.
