H-a-n-n-a-h
Hi im wondering if anyone on here can offer me any advice. Ive recently purchased a 2004 lupo tdi sport as my first car. BUT the plastic wing mirror casing has been knocked off whilst the previous owner had it. It is not cracked or broken, just been knocked off. I cannot find any answers anywhere, and it has been taped temporarily. Does anyone have a more permanent solution? Thankyou
Pete
I may be missing it but what question are you after an answer for???Was it taped up when you bought it, if so have you tried taking it off and it simply won't stay on?? Or did you tape it up yourself coz it won't stay on?? Edited October 24, 2015 by Pete
H-a-n-n-a-h
The previous owner has taped it on temporarily to stop it falling off. I'm trying to find out if I or my father can fix it ourselves and how.
Pete
Well you need to remove the tape to have a look behind it and see what's stopping it from staying on, like bent or broken fixings on either the mirror cap or the part of the mirror head it attaches to.
