T3LLIOTT
Car looks very clean mate and I love what you've done with the door cards/rear parcel shelf, good work. The only criticism I have is the amount and placement of stickers. I can't help but think there's too many on the rear that make it look a bit tacky, especially when you've spent all that time giving it a 'clean' look. Don't take it the wrong way, as I think the work you've done is great just each to their own I guess.

Lewiss_Lupo
Got into the outdoor Show and Shine at 'Elsecar at the races' last weekend and surprisingly didnt take any pictures of my own car! Since i last updated i've become a local nuisance with the help of my new shiny straight pipe, centre and rear sections. Hoffmann centre pipe to a sportex twin tip centre exit.nice and loud. A few more pictures before the exhaust was fitted... Nice picture from Urban Scrapers from Ultimate Dubs 2017! cleaned up the stickers a bit and added a sunstrip for the summer, gives me somewhere else to put stickers! I've taken off my drivers side lower door card as i planned to paint them gloss black to match the other parts of the interior, but i noticed its all held together with plastic welds? anyone got any advice on how to separate it because i really dont fancy trying to paint it with the speaker grille and pocket net attached! Could just use a soldering iron and heat up the plastic welds so they melt again and pull everything apart , then when you're ready to put it all back together again just do it again, just heat up the plastic along the edges where things meet with a soldering iron and make you're own welds shouldn't need any plastic weld rods just spread the plastic across the gap as it melts to join it , do it in a well ventilated place if you can though because it will bloody stink ?? Lewiss_Lupo
So last weekend was spent building a frame to replace the rear seats, buying more material and putting it all together! Forgot to get a picture of the frame fitted but you get the point!

Lewiss_Lupo
Its been a while since I've updated anything on here but back in July I finally went low! I've dropped it as low as I can go and still be able to get onto my driveway, the rear still has adjusters in but they should be coming out in a few months when some new wheels have been picked. Lewiss_Lupo
Show seasons done for another year... Got a few changes coming for next season, hopefully be able to get into a few more shows and meet a few more people! Had such a good year with this little car, looking forward to next year! Yes, I managed to hit the wall next to my driveway too... thats being sorted soon!
Lewiss_Lupo
Well, show seasons started again so I may as well start updating this! Not a lot has happened over winter but the car looks so much better and I'm super super happy with it and its not even finished yet! Middle of December and I decided to buy manual air management, week later and I was on my way to get bags! I had absolutely no knowledge on air ride or how to fit it but 3 days into the new year and the rear was bagged and tucking the tyre nicely! Since I was running 1/4" lines all the way through I had to order new braided front lines and wait for them to be delivered, when they finally came they sat in the shed for a couple weeks while I found motivation to finish it but with constant reminders from my friends that Ultimate Dubs 2018 was 2 weeks away I cracked on and got it bagged completely... still needs an alignment but its fine for now! Also had my bumper repaired and smoothed since it was on the to do list anyway, decided to have it done all in one go! Currently having some wheels refurbished and then the front height will be sorted so it sits as low as it can then I'll start on sorting out the interior! Thanks for reading! Lewiss_Lupo
Not a lot has happened, few changes are and there before early edition.. managed to snap a front strut though so new bags are in order very soon! Not fun driving 5 miles home with a snapped strut, wouldn't recommend it!
mk2
how the hell did you snap a strut?! a lowered car means the piston is deeper in = stronger... beats me!

Hit a pothole dude! I was going to avoid it but there was a bus going around a parked lory so it was either go in the pothole or hit the curb and it turned out to be a much deeper pothole than I expected! mk2
jeeze, that must have been a loud bang. make sure you get the money from your council once it's been fixed. keep all receipts and all the old broken bits. so long as they knew about the hole before the event, you cannot lose in court.
