A guy up near Windermere had it on his, but he's putting his back to standard to sell so he offered it to me as a swap plus cash. Wanted the boot handle smoothed anyway so it made sense!

Went All Types in North Wales today, not a bad day!

The car's looking spot on with the Coilovers finally on and I've got a new exhaust getting sorted on the 9th of June! All coming along nicely

Car's looking good! Plus sensible lows are always a good thing :)

Standard exhaust or going aftermarket?

Cheers! I wouldn't want it too low. Worrying about hitting speedbumps and stuff is not my idea of a good time!

Going aftermarket, but I will be keeping twin pipes, I want it to look how the janspeed one looked basically!

New exhaust and bought some Wing mirror covers that I painted black. Ship shape

Couldn't recommend Tony Banks enough! Exhaust is perfect and sounds lovely!

Edit: Fancy a smaller aerial, not a shark fin one, just a shorter one about the same length of the thick bit on the standard one. Any recommendations for a decent quality one?

I have an OEM Polo 6r aerial, would recommend. It's a bit longer than the Sharan stubby one.

Cheers, I've ordered one! Looks exactly what I was after!

it is not. I'm not 100% on if I'm actually going and it's a bit off show standard in places to be honest!

Really nice tidy car!

What are the spec's on the wheels and tyres? Widths, Offset etc.

Cheers, it's getting there! the wheels are 7 inch wide fronts and 8 inch rears. ET25 all round and the tyres are 195/40/16

you will be absolutely fine, all show cars are daily drivers in the stands and it will be appreciated for being a lupo gti and better than matt arosa's common blue one.

i will have the secretary pm you for your number and she will harass you into it.

good show, you will enjoy it.

Quick update, got my smaller aerial, looks a lot neater! and I sprayed behind the VW badge to match the car. I'm looking at replacing the MK5 chrome VW badge with a '3D' one off newer Golfs, apparently they are near enough the same fit. Still need to get it wired up so it opens with the handle actually aswell! Need to find somewhere to take it as I know nothing about wiring!

How did you get your exhaust to sit so close to the bumper?

I had it done at Tony Banks exhausts. They added another hanger near the tailpipes to give it more support
