Should fit OK with the right tyres, but you could fit some spacers to push them out a bit if need be. 195\40\16 tyres sit between the original 205\45\15 of the GTI and the more commonly re-fitted 195\45\15. Philtdi30 Posted January 25, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Hi silver Thanks for the reply I have bathurts alloys and they fit my car great no issues running 195 45 r15s just like the look of these am lowered on coilovers and don't want to mess around with fitment etc just pop some tyres on and bolt on no messing. Posted January 26, 2015 Report Share Posted January 26, 2015 Yes, I read Honda, MX5, but the wheels are wearing VW centres....aftermarket wheels have larger centre bores like 60mm, then use spigots to bring them down to the required size.
