  1. So I own a 1.4 16v lupo on a 1999, (has only covered around 58,500 miles) Coming home last night, the dreaded whyning began, however it didn't seem to get louder as you went faster. it sounded louder as you took your foot off the accelerator to come down the revs, anyway that aside. Seems to me like I need a new gear box. So the question is, dose anyone know if this model has rod-type gear linkage or is it cable gear linkage? Thanks.
