  1. Good Morning all. Just a quick one. Where is the gearbox drain plug and filler plug located on a 2006 1.2l fox Cheers Kie
  2. Hi recently revived my dead lupo 1.4tdi and started to drive it, after a while the wipers and indicators stopped working wondered if anyone has a wiring diagram so I could look into it tonight?
  3. Just heard through the VW grapevine that the Up! GTI opens for UK ordering 2nd November and the first ones will be in showrooms by 27th December! Its finally happening! No idea on prices at the moment though.
  4. New member here, hiiiiii. Basically, I've been doing huge amounts of research and found the perfect set of wheels in terms of offset, look, width, etc., but they're Volvo, 5x108 jobbies. I've been told that it'd be impossible to get adaptors to make it happen from a 4x100. 1 ) is that right? Should I let the dream die? 2 ) could I not get the adapters made? Willing to pay a fair amount but obviously nothing ludicrous. Open to suggestions. 3 ) is there any other way I can make them fit? Please help! Thanks
  5. Well, that's what I'm aiming for, anyway. Going into this rather blind, so would appreciate all the help, guidance and community that I know ClubLupo offers! Have browsed for months and now making myself known. Hello! Here's my plan: https://www.autocar.co.uk/opinion/new-cars/can-you-buy-good-car-£300
  6. Desperately looking for a 16v Lupo sport for sale!!! please please contact me if you have or know anyone that is selling one!
  7. Afternoon All New to the site and not actually a Lupo nor Arosa owner yet but am currently looking, aiming to pick one up before the end of May, hazar! So yes hello, I'm South Wales based although I travel for work so may some of y'all on the road. If any of y'all have a yearly running cost of the 1.4 TDI Sports trim (Lupo) or the standard Arosa diesel that would be great, just going of guesstimates right now but want something more concrete before I purchase
  8. Anyone have a spare gear knob? Round style. Also Interior Door Handles Lupo or Arosa in Black. It's for a Mk1 Arosa. Based in Northern Ireland but happy to pay postage.
  9. I noticed all 3 of my brake lights have gone on my 2003 1.0 VW Lupo. So instantly thinking it's the switch. Have replaced the switch and they still don't work. Checked the fuse and they're fine. Just for good measure I replaced the bulbs and still don't work. What else could it be??? Can anyone help?

my black 1.4 lupo unfortunate i haven't got any of the photos with the interior finished before i started to sell it to fund mods for my GTI.
  11. As you can probably tell, no one is bothered about modifying their fox any more what i think is a huge shame. I have had mine for a few months now and am not a fan of the stock steering wheel but i really like the Lupo one. Question is does anyone know if it will fit the Fox? And if you have one for sale how much would you want for it? Thanks, Chris.
  12. VW Lupo 1.6 GTI 6 speed with full factory options. Originally registered to VW UK Head office.Flash Red with original Bathurst alloys sprayed black70831 MilesFull Service HistoryJust serviced 3/9/201611 Months MOTBlack Heated Leather seats (RARE)Electric Sunroof (EXTREMELY RARE)AirconOriginal VW Cassette with single cd2 original working VW button keys with spare bladeOriginal VW black leather binder with complete manuals and service book.I have owned the car for 4 yrs, adament i wanted to keep it as original as possible to ensure this stays a rare future classic. I have had to replace the alternator and the battery 2 yrs ago, I used to have a company car so the Lupo sat in the garage for a while unused which also helped save on mileage! It was originally a VW UK car (not a dealer demo) with me being the 3rd private owner. 7 VW main dealer Service stamps followed by 2 vw specialist service stamps and stamp for additional cam belt, water pump and auxiliary belt replaced 28/4/14 @57765 miles.I replaced all 4 tyres with Toyo T1R, 18 months ago which have only covered about 6000 miles.Due to growing children, I cannot keep her anymore and desperately hope she's goes to a home that looks after her as much as we have. These are becoming VERY RARE and classic especially with the factory options. BEWARE as I have noticed quite a few imports for sale lately, please note this car started life with VW UK head office hence the factory options and condition.Bad bits from someone with OCD!-There is a small stone chip just above n/s/r arch, a small scratch bottom corner n/s rear bumper and slight wear around boot handle. That is me being picky. The leather is in exceptional condition. Please bear in mind this is a 14yr old car that is in very good condition for its age with original bodywork including the alloy doors, wings and bonnet.£4995 OVNO Serious buyers, NO time wasters please.I have been as honest as possible with this advert, so get yourself a low mileage, fantastic condition future classic!I am based in Maidstone, Kent. 07904042022Thanks for looking.
  13. Hello all. I've owned my little 1.0 Litre Lupo for just a bit over a year. I thought now is the time to finally give an in depth view of how it is sitting currently and how it got to there. This is gonna be very in depth and may be a bit boring to read or look through but I honestly just want to have a permanent place to look at the progression of my little car for my own satisfaction. If even one person finds it interesting then that's just a bonus! So here we go. Lets have a quick look at the car when I bought it in October 2014. I was so excited to just be able to drive any car. A lupo is definitely not what came to mind for my first car but it was volkswagen, with nice blue dials! ooooh very fancy I thought. Now here is how it sits as of around Ocotober 2015. One year later. (Bottom right photo is actually a few months ago, no splitter and some other small things not done to it) Never thought I would still even own this car by now nevermind have it sitting like this. But hey I have grown attached and I'm super excited for where its gonna end up. Lots of stuff still planned for it! Just recently bought a 1600cc 16 valve Polo GTI engine so...yeah Obvious influences from other members of the lupo community. Club Lupo's Haakon colour choice is probably the most obvious. Don_Larss from instagram totally inspired me to put arches on this thing and there plenty of others Ive stole ideas from. So thanks to all who have helped. Anyway its 2:00 in the morning so I'll update this another time with the actual progression from start to now. Then I'll hopefully start posting updates to the finish of this thing! If any of you have read this thanks!

  18. Make: VW Model: Golf Gti (mk5) MOT: Jan 2017 TAX: Engine size: 2.0 Fuel type: petrol Description including modifications: Just testing the water on this one! Looking to sell my mk5 golf gti, I have owned this car for a couple of years now (having sold my lupo sport make way for it!) and the time has come to move on. The car itself is in very good condition both inside and out (there is the odd mark here and there but nothing unexpected for the age). It is pretty much standard apart from team heko wind deflectors all round and the wheels have been sprayed grey/black. It has just been serviced and the front tyres were replaced about 3000 miles ago. The main thing with this car is the mileage, most gtis have a good few thousand miles under there belt, mine has only 57000 (this will go up as it is my daily driver). Other than that there's not much more to say, everyone knows what to expect with a car like this and mine is ideal as a standard car or a good base to modify! Only selling as looking to get a smaller engined car for my wife to learn in! Location: east Yorkshire Contact: 07506757337 Price: £6500

    Volksfling

This weekend 27-29 May at Biggar there is a VW show! http://www.volksfling.co.uk/volksfling.html Been a couple of times over the years, always a great show with a large variety of cars. Would be good to see more Lupo/Arosa's there!
  20. Hi, The battery light keeps flashing on the dashboard of my 1.0l SEAT Arosa and then the battery runs dead after a few days, sometimes less than a few days if driving just in the day with no lights on. I am unsure on why it is doing it, as I have changed the alternator and bought a new battery. I have had a mechanic and an auto electrician look at it and they are clueless. Any ideas? Thank you!
  21. Sorry I'm new to this, I was wondering if anyone could share any info and help me out. I have recently brought a 1.4 lupo S with what I thought was a good spec list as I have never seen this all on one lupo, or even at all. List as follows, -pop out back windows -3 seats in the back instead of two - heated seats -easy access fold and lift seats -heated seats -cd multichanger -fog lights -electric Windows -air conditioning -sport alloys -stubby mirrors both sides if anyone can shine a light about if this is rare at all or if it is simply just another lupo then I would be very greatful ?? thanks
  22. Recently bought my first car; a VW Fox, after 6 month of driving i'm starting to make a few changes. I'm currently trying to find a front splitter/ lip, but I can't seem to find any and don't want to risk ordering something that doesn't fit. I have a 07 1.4l Black Fox. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom
  23. Make:VW Model: Polo (9n3) MOT: Aug 2016 TAX: £30 per year Engine size: 1.4 Fuel type: Diesel Description including modifications: Very cheap reliable car, done over 11K miles to and from work Alloy wheels with good tyres - one is brand new Air conditioning is ice cold Electric windows and electric heated mirrors Driver, Passenger and Seat Air bags The interior is in great condition, the exterior has the usual wear with a couple of normal car park dents (one on each side) VW service history until 2011 then independent afterwards. Last service at 88,650 miles which included new pads/shoes and discs, as well as wheel cylinders. The brakes have had a total over hall. Drives very well, had the wheel alignment and tracking done when I got it - need to for the miles I do. Comes with 2 keys, both central locking fobs for the alarm system. The car is a cat d, it had a cracked front bumper (paint was intact) and a broken tab on a headlight from the bumper moving when I got it, I was surprised that it hadn't been fixed as it looked like a parking mishap. I had the bumper, bumper bar and front panel replaced to make sure it was totally fixed and reliable as I can't afford to not have a car for work. Rather than replace like for like I requested the updated GTI front end and lights which I think makes the car look newer and more appealing. The only other thing to mention is that the clutch release bearing sometimes chirps in 1st gear, its always done it and never got worse. I've asked 2 different garages to check it wasn't the clutch and both said the clutch was good, it never slips and it drives perfectly. Location: Ashford, Kent Images: Price: £2595
  24. Hey Guys, I recently bought a Lupo 02 but having difficulties with my heater dials as there's no illumination, I've been told it could be bulbs, however, taking away part of the dash it looks as though it's built in. I'm happy to replace the whole unit, however, getting it out is proving somewhat difficult, the only solution I can see is to remove the entire lower dash, centre console and gator. Would be great if anyone has any quick solutions as I'd rather not undergo the above surgery for a lousy tenners work. My dash is of the MK2 model and isn't as simple as the MK1 model. Thanks
  25. Hi there I've owned my Lupo GTi for about 10months now, I replaced the discs and pads all the way round a while a go now and today the car has started to make a horrible noise when I pull away, sort of sounds like the brakes when you press them at low speeds... It's not a squeak it's more of a judder? So I jacked it up and tried spinning the front wheels (not in gear with the engine running) and the wheels span about 1/4 turn then stopped them self is this normal ?! I'm a boat mechanic not a car mechanic so excuse me if I'm not 100% clear. Any help much appreciated cheers
