Hello, the rust on the subframe of my sdi is getting quite worrying. I’ve been looking for subframes for sale and can’t find any sdi ones, I was wondering if a subframe from a 1.0 would fit?

Hi All I currently have a Lupo project (standard 1.0 shell) on the go and have the opportunity to purchase a 3L front aluminium subframe/hubs/shocks as well as the rear beam/hubs. Question is can these be bolted straight to a standard shell without modifications? I'm aware the 3L shell is the same as the GTI. Has anyone had experience of doing this conversion? Cheers -
Title: Recaros and subframes Description: I have a pair of Recaros, along with subframes for the Arosa they were fitted to. These frames may fit the Lupo as well. I think most folk would describe the seat condition as ‘excellent’ (I probably only used them for 2 years or so). Ditto the subframes. They’ve been stored in the house and/or dry loft for a number of years. As you can see from the photos, they have stepless recline and a release lever to tip them for 3-door cars. Also, they have the traditional pull-out bit to adjust the length of the seat base. Location: Sevenoaks, Kent, Junction 5 of M25 Price: Considering I must have paid over a grand for the whole lot (bought new), and they’ve had such light use, by a non-smoking owner, I’d really like at least £200, but if there’s no stampede of interest, I could be flexible.

Hi, Looking to fit a pair of bucket seats to the Lupo. But, I'm afraid I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to seats. I was looking at a set of Racespex Seats but I don't have a clue what I need to do to fit them. If you know of any direct fit seats, that would be even better 10 Brownie Points Awarded

Hello out there. Can somebody please tell me if the Polo Mk3 or 4 front Subframe will fit a Lupo 1.0L? If so, can somebody tell me the best place to get a deal on one. Thanks!!
