hi. just picked a 1.0 arosa up and on the way back the oil light started flashing and it felt like it started misfiring the light only flashed when building up speed and slowing down when sat at 40+ the light wasnt on any ideas of what this could be?????? its a 1999 v and done 85000 miles thanks in advance

Hi! Basically my problem is i'm losing about a litre of oil every month. I have a 1.4 16v lupo S with 103k miles and k&n induction kit. I noticed when fitting the kit a few months ago that the crankcase breather pipe had disintegrated somewhat, the rubber had collapsed and the degraded, but not leaking. This morning while topping up the oil i noticed some mayo / sludge under the filler cap, I have not lost any coolant so I don't think it's the head gasket. So my question is do you think the cause of the oil loss/sludge is the collapsed breather pipe? If so what is the part number and can I change it easily myself? My engine code is AHW, cable throttle. thanks in advance!

Dear all, Can someone please point me in the right direction. Nearly two months ago I changed the oil on my VW Lupo 1.4 16v. Including flushing and filter change. All was great until just about 2 weeks ago my Oil Pressure light started coming on along with the beep! It is always while above 2.5k revs. The car drives great and i have had no other issues with it. I can run the car idle and with no issues and it always seems to be after driving for about 15 mins. If I stop at lights the Oil light will go out after a while and then back on when over 2k revs.!! I have read some of the posts but being, how can I put it, better finding my way around a computer than the inside of a car; I would appreciate some advice please? Thank you all
