ive put some 15" wheels on with an offset of ET25 mm and wanting to put coilovers on, will I need to have my arches rolled or flared?

Is any one running V-MAxx Coilovers ? if so whats the ride like on them, im wanting to go for the cheapest but most comfortable coilovers with a budget of about £400 iv had joms on my mk4 golf and they were abit harsh but bearable, so if i cant afford top end coilies am i just better off with joms ? thanks.

I'm looking for a set of coilovers but need advice in which ones to look for? I want to know which ones are best for comfort and reliability, also no more then £250, any suggestions?

Just been quoted by my insurance company (Admiral) that they would want £128 extra? if i was to change the suspension in my car and they said they would allow me to change the wheels for no extra fee if i was to do this. So i am thinking of putting some 50inch truck wheels on and raising the suspension 1500mm! Well really they said i can do anything up to 50mm (5cm there words) So that in mind, also bearing in mind im on a tight ass student budget! What are the pro's and Cons of Buying a set of springs £64 for my TDI 1.4 lupo or buying (i think its the cheapest) JOM Blueline Coilovers at £189. Is the handling, braking, accelerating, comfort, reliability or anything better by having the whole coilover kit as appose to just the springs? bearing in mind my lupos suspension is nearly 11 years old! One last question oooober question. If i was to go out and get some new wheels for my Lupo at some point, would it be best to do this before putting on the new coilovers (as they are adjustable) that way i would no if the wheels fit or not? or would i be able to just crank the suspension height right up put the wheels on, and then lower the car back down to a specific height, as obviously wheels change the ride height, (is adjusting it a simple job?) (Spring clamps are about £10) So the difference is really £64 + £10 + £128 = £202 £189 + £10 + £128 = £327 Thanks people.

Hi everyone Ok first thing i did when i bought my 1.4Tdi Lupo was add a rear anti roll bar as i felt so unstable going round roundabouts, this worked however i thought haye ill go one step further and put coilys on. Yep brilliant drive now, doesnt wabble all over the shop like a jelly car anymore. However, Only thing is i feel the suspension is now to stiff, the question is can any one advise me on a softer setup for the rear as i feel this is where im getting my bad back from. Im using AP coilovers. Any help or advice appeciated as i dont think my back can take any more bumps.

I'm new to the Lupo scene and need some advice, I'm looking at buying a 1.0E, can anyone tell me how low I can go on 'KW V1 Coilovers' with 15x7" Rota Flashbeck's. I don't want silly low as my town in full of pot holes and speed bumps. Any help appreciated!

As the title says, rear shocks on my Arosa both blew after my springs snapped so need a new set. Don't care what make, though I'm budgeting myself to £120 or thereabouts. If anyone's got anything knocking about either reply on here or PM me and I'll reply ASAP.

Back shoes done on mot september(i fail mot on handbrake and stickers on wiper area) One back bearing was noisy so i replaced bouth same time with brakes. New brake swich 4 months ago Temperature sensor 4 months ago Front pads 4weeks ago its low,slow but cheep to drive and parts are cheep too 1.9 diesel if you look after them they will last forever. hi there got myself a little arosa after bein off the road for a while, got myself some 13' banded steels for it n now im needing some coilovers, any set really just to get the ride height down for the look not too fussed about handeling, let is no what youv got cheers

Hi, haven't been on for a while after getting an S2000, but I'm selling this on behalf of my friend who's moving over to the JAP scene too Its a 51 plate lupo sport in fantasia green. Spec 50,000 miles 1.4 16v, 5 speed gearbox (100bhp) 3 Door Full service history (cambelt recently done) Tax and Tested so ready to drive away Overall the car's in very good condition, has the usual stone chips on the bumper/bonnet but apart from that she's very clean. Other goodies.... *Coilovers *BBS RMs 7s rear, 6.5s front *BMC CDA induction kit *Powerflow stainless steel exhuast including decat *Electric Windows *ELectric mirrors *Pop out rear windows (expensive extra) *Cd player The only downside's to the car are the engine lights on due to the decat (had the same problem with my lupo gti) The cat can be put back in to take the light off if you wish The airbag light is also on due to the squib behind the steering wheel being faulty. Hey I know this has been raised many times about coilovers. I have a 1.0 lupo SE and I want to lower it on some coilovers in the future. I will be on a budget but might be willing to spend for quality. So I was wondering which are the best coilovers I can get for a good price. Also will fitting them myself be a huge problem?

have sold my lupo and now i am selling the V-maxx coilovers that i had in my lupo for about 8 months. The coilovers are in great shape and was just wanting some help for a price to sell them at... many thanks darren

Does anyone know where I can buy a set of new spring seats for a set of TA Technix? I doubt I am the only one who have experienced seized adjusters so I'm sure I can't be the first after a set. I'm just not sure where to get them. Any help or directions given will be much appreciated. Thanks

new to all this can any one help. i was looking for some coilovers for my seat arosa 16v sport, and iv been told that KW V1's are good, but demon tweaks offer to different prices, the coilovers for the lupo are cheaper than they are for the arosa on there web site, arnt they practically the same????
