Got a new car this week as the il arosa had a cracked suspension turret and this came up cheap .Full vw history , 78k , pop-outs , basically completely big standard , all that was needed was a proper good clean inside and out . Change a couple bits from the arosa to this , changed a wheel bearing and it drives like a new car!

Just to let everyone know I did finally! get my car back from the crash.. Just saving now for the insurance as it cost over £1,000 to fix... (I didn't claim as I didn't hit anyone) Anyway, I own a MK2 Red Arosa for those who don't know and the black plastic bumper on the bottom doesn't fit perfectly which is irritating still looking at the pictures I was lucky. Does anyone have a Bonnet bra or Wind deflectors or a debadged front grill without the 'S' or sprayed? Anyway nice to finally get back on here!

Hello, im new to the forum and have just purchased my first car which is a red standard mk 1 r reg arosa and was just wondering what rims you'se would recommend as im a bit stuck for choice. Im into the 'dub' and 'euro' look at the moment and wondered if you could help. My budget it around £0-£500 mark but cheapest would be good. Thanks

Is this possible? because i havent seen it done before. Is there anywhere to paint, because it looks like it is all the reflector. If anyone out there has painted them, post pictures please because im curious as to how this would be done Cheers.

After a 121mile each way I finally picked up a Sport as I've been after one for a couple weeks. It's not exactly in the best condition body-wise as the previous owner's ex girlfriend kicked in both rear 1/4s, boot, bonnet and a wing. But I got it quite cheap My mate had hardly used pads and discs off his polo gti so I decided to fit them but the discs were too thick!! Bought some standard discs in the end but still used the green stuff Mods: - Coilovers (not sure what they are but theyre comfy) - K&N Air filter - Catback system Plans: - Replace engine - Make the car mechanically sound - Sort out bodywork - 15" Ronal Turbo's

Hey Guys, I'm martyn, i'm 17 and have a 1.0 seat arosa as my first car:) i've been on here a while now and not done a thread yet, so put it in the 'new members' section. This is my arosa on the first day i picked it up! I straight away debadged it, and cleaned it up Then de-wipered it:) Got some DIN type cupholders off lupoboz, and a JVC headunit free off my sister, and bought a fli trap 12" sub! Then i got some Lupo rears off ebay for £26 inc. delivery! Then bought a sheet of some 3m carbon wrap and some aero wipers:D Plan on getting coilovers soon, and maybe g60s as i don't like the tsw's that are on it! Let me know what you think, cheers!

I have bought my car in September and after doing few mods decided to make my first build thread So it is a yellow Seat Arosa Sport some pictures of my car when I got it (Debadged it pretty much straight away) : before: after: After few weeks I bought some cheap coilovers from Belgium (drunked at the time) : sorry for crap quality pictures. fitting them with my mate : some more: Didn't like the calipers so a bit of job on spraying them : Ment to be slighlty different colour, but nevermind : Sprayed mine manifold cover dark red : HID's time : Also bought some better Induction kit then a K&N : quality is horrible and piping is not in line, but all sorted now just didn't had time to make some more pictures Then my cambridge lights arrived ( hated the pizza lights ) : so i set to work : I didnt mentioned my sub, just a vibe I bought it cheap (ex-display ) One side done, car was dirty as it's raining 24/7 and both sides done : spoiler came in ( not fitted yet waiting for payday ) some stickers : got my wheels, nearly ready for primer : tyres arrived (bloody currier nearly gave them to my nextdoor nebour ! : 165/50/15 R Bridgestone potenza on 7j so only a small stretch. Also I have choosen colour for my alloys : It's a porsche graphite metallic And that about it for now, can't wait to have my alloys back and on the car, need to order my light unit for spoiler from Lupoboz ( very good guy tbh), hopefully some updates soon. Staff to do ? - take the rear wiper off, decided to keep it for the winter. - side stripes off, - respray few parts as pilling laquer a bit More updates soon Thanks

My standard arosa speakers in the front door panels need replacing...badly! I've blown them to bits so they just crackle at any level of bass :/ sad times. Anyway...I took the door panel of to check the size and noticed they are riveted...? I've got some new speakers and the adapter ring thing on order but can someone explain how I'm supposed to get the old ones out?! I've seen people say drill it out but how? With a standard drill..? I'm new to all this stuff so any help will be greatly appreciated!

Afternoon everyone, I've just bought a Seat Arosa Mk1 and was wondering if the mileage and time should still be displayed, even without the key in the ignition. I assume something is wrong here but instead of taking it straight to a garage, thought I'd ask here first. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is a well known car in the local area, and many people have had the privilege of driving it. Spec: 1.4 6N AFH K&N cone air filter A3 bushes (I believe..) Front coilies / chopped rears - unknown shocks BBS 15" Corbeau bucket seats Custom rear strut G40 steering wheel 16v brakes Shortened bike can There's probably more... My intentions are to bring this car back to its former glory.. As it stands, it's a bloody eye-sore. I shall post some pics when the opportunity arises so that you guys can see the transformation since the above thread, as I'm sure you'll be interested

the parcel shelf in my arosa is too small to put any speakers in!! any ideas??

ok sorry for all threads ive never worked on arosa and atm im halfway through refitting my dash as it was removed when i purschased the car, the questions i have are where are the screws to secure it in place i know of one either side of the dash by the door openings , one has been cut off !!!! in the passenger footwell there is a mounting bracket to screw on which i have done i think there is one inside the dash under the pass side glove box any help would be appreciated on how to get it ftted best

Hi everyone, I passed my driving test in october and finally got my first car 2 weeks ago, it's a Seat Arosa 1.0. So pleased with it, plan on doing a few interior mods to it next and maybe refurb my alloys in the future. I'd appreciate some opinions from you guys

Hello I am currently on the road as a learner, i have my test in 8 days time, on the 15th of february. I have high hopes that i will pass my test, i am currently looking for a cheap Mk2, i know i can't get much with the budget my dad has given me but i was hoping you guys could keep an eye out for a completely standard or partially modified Arosa Mk2 (any colour, not really bothered). When i get my car i only plan to modify it a little, for example i only want alloys and coilovers and camber the wheels so it looks sick as hell! Anyways, i am based in a little town called Colyton in devon. So people know where it is my postcode is EX246QB Please guys and gals can you keep an eye out for me Really want a mk2 arosa. And before i forget my spending limit is a maximum of £1200.

I test drove a Lupo sport today noticed it had disc brakes on the back I was wondering if the 1.4s has disc or drum brakes. Anyone know?
