Title: Recaros and subframes Description: I have a pair of Recaros, along with subframes for the Arosa they were fitted to. These frames may fit the Lupo as well. I think most folk would describe the seat condition as ‘excellent’ (I probably only used them for 2 years or so). Ditto the subframes. They’ve been stored in the house and/or dry loft for a number of years. As you can see from the photos, they have stepless recline and a release lever to tip them for 3-door cars. Also, they have the traditional pull-out bit to adjust the length of the seat base. Location: Sevenoaks, Kent, Junction 5 of M25 Price: Considering I must have paid over a grand for the whole lot (bought new), and they’ve had such light use, by a non-smoking owner, I’d really like at least £200, but if there’s no stampede of interest, I could be flexible.

suspension Do all models of lupo/arosa share same suspension setup

I have an early model arosa I want to buy lowering springs , the site I want to buy them off fk-shop.de have them for a lupo but doesn't say what model before or after face lift. I'm just wondering does that matter, do all models of Arosa/Lupos share suspension ? Also is that a reputable site to buy off or any suggestions for somewhere else would be much appreciated Thanks Alex -
Help I have a Y reg seat arosa that currently has central locking... when I first bought the car the boot locked at the same time as I locked the doors via the central locking. Ive used my boot today and now when I lock my car the boot doesn't lock? I have to put the actual key into the boot to physical lock and unlock it. When I do this it then no longer unlocks.... ive checked my owners manual and doesn't say anything about it. can anyone help? Many thanks arosashan

ive got a few questions here and i think someone here could answer them so here goe's is it possible to drop a 1.8/2,0 turbo engine in the arosa from say a seat leon or VW passat or something any idea's on getting rid of the sticky resin thats been left behind by the door trims? im thinking of using the stuff they use too take off adverts from vans and bus's but not sure if there's something better than that? weird whinning noise coming from my engine bay,i fear that its on its last legs as it has done 117,000+ not sure if it's some bearing or something but the faster i go,the louder it gets doe's anyone know where i can get my steelie's banded? (glasgow area)

so i recently bought myself a 1998 Arosa and well the car is F***** passed an M.O.T with some welding and bulbs however i started to realise the gearbox was getting stiffer and alot harder too get in too gear,i had the selectors check and there fine,clutch is fine too,so before i go out and buy a whole new box,im praying someone could maybe shed some light on it? cheers guys

Right so i was looking for a new car and i was going to be a right weirdo and buy an mx5 or an ibiza or something but i decided on this..i went to see the car and saw this massive black stripe down the side of the car, with two small stripes either side, was going to just peel it off when i got it home but now I'm not so sure...was just wondering has anyone else had or seen this on another arosa? Doesn't look like someone else has put it on and if they have it's a decent job..(i think so)...is there anyone out there seen this before? Curiousity is killing me..Can't find anything online..anyone know if it's standard or aftermarket?

For sale is my 1998 Seat Arosa 1.0 MPi in black, reluctant sale due to needing a bigger car and no way to keep 2! The car was owned by my Grandmother from new and I aquired it in 2013 with only 18,000 miles on the clock. The car now has 33,160 miles (may rise slightly). Main upgrades/work done to car: -Supplying dealer fitted 15" alloys professionally refurbished and fitted with Dunlop BluResponse tyres all round -Philips headunit with USB, AUX and Bluetooth -Cambelt, waterpump and tensioners replaced at 18,430 miles -Gauge install in cubby hole (can be turned off or removed) -EU approved towbar and electrics -Original Seat mudguards The car has 2 keys and an alarm fitted by the supplying dealer which includes remote central locking. The car also has factory electric windows and the original Seat floor mats. The V5 is present along with extensive service history and the MOT which expires 20/01/2017. I serviced the car last month and the car has recently been detailed/protected with sealant. In terms of mechanicals and interior, the car really is in immaculate condition. The black exterior is certainly respectable, as the car often attracts comments about how looks far newer than it is. The car is located in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire but Audlem, Cheshire can be arranged. hi I'm having a problem with my arose where the accelerator pedal is popped out of place making it not able to achieve 100% open throttle. i can see whats wrong but dunno how to fix it as don't know the name of the part... Can anyone help? thanks

Hi, The battery light keeps flashing on the dashboard of my 1.0l SEAT Arosa and then the battery runs dead after a few days, sometimes less than a few days if driving just in the day with no lights on. I am unsure on why it is doing it, as I have changed the alternator and bought a new battery. I have had a mechanic and an auto electrician look at it and they are clueless. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hey Ive been on this forum for a while and never made an account so I finally decided to and I'm stuck so I'm hoping somebody can help me? (I will be making a thread about my story of my lupos and now this arosa, I have a misfire problem on my 04 1.4 Arosa S and I would appreciate suggestions on how to fix it.. Steps I have taken so far are; Changed HT Leads Changed Spark Plugs Changed Coilpack i have also tried disconnecting the battery and waiting to remove the engine management light and it worked and the car seemed a lot better but then it came back flashing disappeared again then came back and stuck and I'm back to square one all advise is appreciated, thanks.

Arosa Write Up Seat Arosa 1.4 TDI S 2001 I have for sale my beloved mk2 1.4 Tdi, I used this car to commute to work but have changed jobs and can walk to work. It will easily return 60mpg+. As a car enthusiast I love to enhance cars and have spent a lot of time and money to make this car fast, economical and yet look as standard as possible. All parts have been replaced with either original or OEM and I have all the documentation. Mature driver and always driven with mechanical sympathy. Dblock is my brother so you know the car has been treated well. It has all the usual mods. 100bhp remap which makes it faster and more economical. The 0.622 5th gear mod which does 70mph at 2krpm. This means super quiet and efficient cruising. The mod cost £300. All the normal wear and tear items have been done like the stat, temp sensor and suspension work and a clutch. So the car is good to go. Engine is sweet and is serviced every 6000 miles (half the interval) using the proper PD 505.01 spec oil. Gear box oil is also proper VAG stuff. Coolant is G12++. The car has been treated very very well. I bet you can’t find a car on sale that has been treated as well as this one. We have 2 Arosa Tdi’s in the house so we know these cars well.
