  1. I thought I'd be able to find this easily so I'm wondering what I've done wrong. Years ago I put this in the Lupo GTI : https://www.pioneer-car.eu/uk/products/fh-x700bt/support When wiring it in I used a standard DIN to VW adaptor (I think) and I had to swap yellow and red wires but even then it didn't switch off with the ignition so I'm sure I had to find a switched live from the 12v lighter socket or something. But the aerial has never worked. I don't think I could even fit it into anything because it was a different connection. I seem to remember needing a kit that was about £50 and I didn't want to spend that on getting radio because I don't listen to it much. Does this sound like **** and am I remembering it wrong? Or is there a magic wiring kit that converts a standard DIN connection to work with a 2002 GTI? Cheers
  2. hello, i'm looking for a new aerial. a stumpy one that is but i am unsure with what to go with as after looking at some reviews of the cheaper ones people are saying they don't get any signal, so can anyone point me in a direction?? I was thinking about going for this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VW-POLO-2010-AERIAL-ROD-6R0-035-849-/171075572107?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27d4e6118b does this fit on a lupo?? anyway cheers in advance Kailum
  3. Hey forum, When I originally bought a stubby aerial of eBay which was supposed to work... Obviously this does not work and I am looking to buy a new aerial. Any recommendations? Josh
  4. hello all, just a quick question to see if anyone know anything about this product? ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-SHARK-FIN-AERIAL-ANTENNA-VW-POLO-LUPO-GOLF-BEETLE-/120497522461?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c0e36471d ) quality ? fitment ? cheers Luke.
  5. Right, i have known for a while now that the spoiler fouls on any non GTI but i bought a spoiler regardless, i have just test fitted it to find out the extent of the fouling on a polo 6R aerial and it is quite significant, even on the shorter aerial. Has anyone found a fix for this because i have just thought would it be possible to just put/weld a spacer on the hinge stop to restrict the range of the boot travel?
  6. I just got my new Lupo today and unfortunately the aerial has seen better days. i was just wondering if a bee sting would look decent or to try get an original looking one. anyone got any pics of their Lupo with a bee sting? any advice welcome!
