Whats wrong with the number plate? i am selling as is as i think a young lad or lass would prefer the car the way it is as young people buy them as they are only insurance group 1. i personally think the fox is a poor excuse for a golf but i bought it for my girlfriend and would feel silly giving her a car with wheel trims thats why i put the wheels on and most people don't know that they dont make a fox gti and also most people wouldnt know what a fox is. thanks for the advise though. dan.

Why don't VW do a fox gti? or are they going to a fox in a gti version? Although my girlfriend wanted the new golf gti for her birthday i just couldn't aford 1 so i got her the fox and put some golf gti wheels on (which you have all had a laugh about!) ive also just bout the double exhauste tip and the golf gti badges for the rear and the gril, (ill post a pic later on in the week). what are your views on 'riping' a fox off with gti badges? dan

how much is the hydrolic suspension kit? im just trying to keep costs at a low because i bought it for my girlfriend as a cheap car but after the wheels and suspension its gunna start costing.

the wheels have come and i have just put them on 2 day but it now looks like its on stilts! (also need the centre caps!) i am now going to lower it but what springs should i use? how low do i put it? etc! any help would be appreciated!

Had a look on ebay and thinking of buying some new golf gti style wheels but wondering if they will fit? maybe scrape when turning? the wheel size is 8 J X 18" 5X100 ET 35 with 225/40/18 tyres! HELP ME!
