Does anyone have, or know where I can get a 1.4 75bhp engine. Must be a runner and preferably be seen to be running. Cash waiting but will only be paid if the engine is good.

Am I right in thinking that my two problems 1. Drivers side window "sometimes goes down, sometimes dont work" 2. My door lock on drivers door "sometimes works/turns all the way round/stick key in and windows pop down" Are BOTH the same fix? Or what do I need to fix both. This is not good at a Mac D drive through and the window wont come down

What is a lupo towing?

Easy The weight of the 1.4 is 850kg and my vans weight is 600kg It pulls it easy Its been all over the uk. If you go to many VW shows look out for a taxi looking loop and and a caravan

Ive a 1.4 with towbar I pull a caravan with my loop! You cant get a gti towbar and its to do with the rearbox coming in the center of the bumper. Also........... towbar makers are not producing anymore bars for loops, mine was put on in June and that was the last one the company had

I have 2 spare tickets for the weekend ( THEY ARE TRADERS BANDS ) They give us 4 but I only need 2, So if anyone gets stuck they can have em. First of all yup I'm old and I've got a caravan Now............. due to towing a van I would like to get a better brake set up, I need it to stop!!! My OEM set up ( its a 1.4 2000 ) isn't the greatest at stopping So make the loop stop faster and better what is the best thing to do? What do I need to do/buy

Yea Just got a HPI one done Comes back with made date 1999 then UK reg 2002 but been used abroad I mean is it that much of an issue if a car had been imported?

Looking at a Golf tomorrow, I went onto one of those vehicle check sites but the info dont really seem to add up Are these sites 100% right? Here is the info Engine Number NOT KNOWN First Registered 5 Apr 2002 Year Manufactured 1999 Former Keepers 0 (Current keeper has held the vehicle from first registration) Body 4 Door Saloon Now its a 5 door its had 3 Keepers and really whats going on regarding the manufacted date being 99 but not on road to 2002 Shall I be worried? Really want to car but nothing adds up
