On my way to cambridge my car wouldnt come out of 5th! i managed to get it out just befor the dartford tunnel!. Then after the gears were a little stiff and a little crunchy. Also a strange noise. like a squeel through all the gears contantly. Is this a release bearing problem or gear box... also th aa man did a "clutch test" put it in 3rd reved it up to 3k and dropped the clutch and it didnt stall..... he said its slipping??? any suggestions please HELP! thanks. Does any one know how much extra ooomfh my sdi would give if i had it remapped may 10 extra bhp??? Can any one help. ta kane.

it would be the same as the lupo. Engine etc.... what the point i guess?

if the egg is bad enough not to come off with a wash you could try auto glym tar remover but this can also dull your paint.... Would of been worse in summer and the bonnet was hot..... well you'd get a free brekkie.

does it keep twisting? or does your key get stuck?? of so just go to vw with your log book and get a new barrel £60 ish... will take around 2weeks

i have an sdi and its 81000 and not even worn in lol....... tdis should be fine probably the same engine as the polo?

introduce your self, what you do as a carrer or what you do at colledge. and maybee ad a photo and what car you drive. So the the people who cant make the meets and shows can find out more about the people they are taking to. if it is innorpropiate(i cant spell) please delete. cheers people i took it to the garage andd it the temperature thing telling the engine the wrong thing and the choke kept turning on. Bugga ..... not to expensive tho.

Hello fellow lupoers, i have been experiencing a problem. Some times when i go to start my 1.0l it seems as if there is no petrol going through and it ticks over slightly then buld up the revs and the automatic choke then starts, any one know what could be causing this or any one had the same problem? cheers, kane. p.s if its olny miner is there anyting i can do to help it or shall i go and get it a nice sevice?p.s.s (sorry) when i open my doors clunk clunk clunk what can i use to stop this thanks again!!
