i think a 6n2 polo glove box would fit, its practically the same dash! have thought about it several times, but then when i look on elsa at work at the amount of effort needed to remove the dash, i really can't be bothered! although saying that, i'll probably end up fitting it anyway!!!

spotted as i was on my way home from work on saturday! silver y-plate gti, coming from box hill direction towards kingswood. had a plastic ball-thingy on the aerial. also, about 2 mins later, saw a bright red lupo, may have been a sport but not sure, with a private plate also heading in the opposite direction along the same road.

don't wanna make you all hate me, but it seems there is a good reason for working for vw after all! had a 20k service, brake fluid change and new front pads, and it cost me £127 all in! mines on 21k now, but gonna need new rear pads and discs soon! agree with you that vw do try and rip people off whenever they can, especially when its something that is safety related!

A bulb from vw is around £170 retail, and i don't get hardly any discount! have heard thru the vine that they are 'only' around £90 from mercedes, as they should be the same bulb! i think lupo ones are d2s type, pretty common bulbs on most xenon headlighted cars i think!

have to say, mine does feel a lot "looser" from when i bought it back in september! steering feels a lot lighter, does tram line a lot, pulls to one side under hard acceleration, must get it checked! thought it could be tie rod ends, but they seem ok, as do my wishbones. putting a lot of it down to ****ty dunlop tyres, but if arosa's are doing it too, who knows?

if ya want an in-line fuse holder, i'm sure i can "aquire" one from work for you! i'm gonna put a switch onto mine from the fag lighter so that i can turn it off when i park up!

have you checked the rear washer pipe? on my old polo (6n), there was a connector just behind the rear seat under the parcel shelf retainer that came apart, causing water to gush (good word!) into the rear footwell (well being the right word there too!) so i stripped it all out, and put a `cable-tie` on the joins, and voila!

seen at total service station in horley, surrey, bout half two in the afternoon on sunday.

as it says, a bright yellow lupo, with a pesonalised number plate s ** upo, seen going towards kingswood `round-a`-bout on the a217 on thursday eve! looked like it had a bodykit on it.

i got flashed on the m25 doing about 85, what dyou think my chances of a fine are?
