its the vw aftermarket dash kit! retails for around £88, but got it for about £45 with my staff discount! livens the dash up, makes other lupos with standard vents look odd!

yep, the white data sticker should be on the inside of the cover in your sevice book. paint codes start with the letter L. nicki - as far as i know, its not metallic, just a solid black!

it shud say beta or gamma on the unit. The other way is to look at the buttons around the volume knob, if it has bass, treble and balance, its a beta, and if it has those 3 and fader, its a gamma.

its usually a blue wire that acts as the remote wire, but you could put a switched wire from the ignition yes

nicki - yours is listed as just "black" paintcode L041, and your interior is "UZ" or Red/off-black!

is a beta or a gamma headunit? if its a beta, it has no rear outputs at all, but if its a gamma, then you can buy a lead from halfrauds for around £15 that gives you front and rear outputs.

ha ha, didn't pay for the spacers tbh, the company i got them from made me wait for three months, various excuses for not getting them, and they forgot to mention payment, so i didn't say anything.......! he he!

the wheels are 7x15 et37, and the tyres at the moment are 195/50/15, and they only rub on the inside of the arch on one side at a time on full lock. have been told by several people that 5mm spacers would sort the problem, but i want to put 195/45/15 tyres on, reduce the sidewall profile, hoping this might help!
