Mine has the same problem. I changed everything, plugs, leads etc then a new cat and passed the MOT but still it was still running rough. I then changed the Lambda sensor and since then the engine is running perfect! Get a good Lambda sensor though, I got one made by NGK. The last one was fitted by a supposed VW specialist called Streetwise in Bristol and that failed within a year, together with the new cat they fitted as well! Mine was getting something like 32 mpg but it went back to over 43 mpg after I fitted the Lam sensor. Good Luck

Do you have driver's side door lock? If so, are all the micro switches working?

Is it definitely ok to scan by Vag Com? Mine's a 2000 1.4S. Just in case, do you know where the airbag controller is situated for me to check the part no?

Could someone advise me how to remove the outside door handle of a 2000 Lupo?

Can you tell me how to fit the spring back as before? I can put them back together but the spring seems to need to put back in a certain manner before the spring back action can work as before.

This does not include the bit. You can get the bit from a VW dealer, it's for the Polo (Part No. 6NO 837 238C), it's call a carrier. I got one yesterday, cost £ 2.47 including vat. You need to file down the centre bit and file down slightly the two bits on the side and it will fit. The only problem is I just cannot put them back together! Can anyone help? I just cannot figure out how to put the spring back so it will spring back as before!
