  4. Any ideas seems to take forever to get to the 90 on the temp guage mainly sits around 75...Takes longer than my caddy... Thinking it may be the cause of lower than average fuel consumption. cheers in advance.

  8. It will have old fluid in then so won't this need to bled out??
  9. Oh cool from what I read it ran of the same fluid so needed bleeding same time you changed the brake fluid.
  10. I'm changing the brake fluid so do I need to bleed the clutch aswell???
  11. Do I need to bleed the clutch master cylinder?? If so where is it....Thanks
  12. Apparently of a standard 6n2 tdi but an italian one. Car not lowered as yet not epensive though and hat my wheels that I have now so might give them a whirl.
  13. size 15x6 if that matters.
  14. will 15x6 offset 45 be ok on a standard lupo tdi
  15. Going to look at some polo wheels with offset et45 will these be ok on a Lupo tdi. Please let me know as soon as thanks.
  16. Fat can't message ya send me pm of what condition the wheels are and how mcuh you want for them
  17. Is it likely the clutch cable might just need adjusting or would I be finding all gears hard if this was the problem.
  18. Did you use the vw stuff or get some from somewhere else.
  19. Seems strange every other gear is absolutely sweet as a nut and slick... and third is fine going up, actually found it coming down a little more on last drive out. Is it possible it could be clutch cable or would this mean that all gears were dodgy. If I need a box any suggestions for places to go to get one?? Don't help theres no haynes manual for this model.
  20. I thought doing the rev match thing above would suggest then that it wasn't a syncromesh issue?? Cooper, was trying to go down the easier options than throwing another box in at this point.
  21. Just been and tried it hit the throttle when clutch is dropped and still don't go in. Any more ideas....
  22. Will have a look for a realignment thread when I get chance.
  23. Well when I take it out I'll have a look. I'm definately pushing hard enough,...Had alot of cars Mk1 and Mk2 golf Gtis a G40, polo 1.9tdi, T4's, caddy's so never really had a problem before so would rule out driving style and pushing hard enough. I notice from the receipts it had a new cable not so long ago so am wandering if it may be needs readjusting, but as I say goes up the gears fine, and only into 3rd thats a problem. Was thinking bout changing the gearbox oil as doubt thats ever been done and its getting on for 140k.
