  1. I'm no mechanic, I'm just going by what the VW dealership have told me and what I've found on the internet, which suggests its and EGR fault. Still for sale
  2. Lenso's provisionally gone, so £1200ovno on the standard alloys.
  3. eBay auction ended now I'm afraid. Still for sale though
  4. Thanks for the offer, but not really something I'm after. Good luck with it though
  5. Realistically I'm after a sale, as I've got more cars than I need at the moment, but feel free to offer what you've got.
  6. ttt £1700 with wheels, £1500 without
  7. Right, I'm being given a company car (much to my dismay), so time to cull the fleet down a bit. First out of the door is the girlfriend's Lupo unfortunately. She's ideally after something a bit bigger, so she can have my daily instead. DETAILS: 2000 1.4S model. MOT til August 2012! Just MOTed yesterday (23/7/11), only failed on handbrake cables, which were replaced with new ones. Tax til the end of September I believe. ENGINE: The engine has 95000 miles on the clock (but is in daily use so will increase), and drives like a dream in my opinion. Admittedly the missus only uses it for school runs and Tesco, but I've driven it to London and back a couple of times and have had no issues. We bought it off a mechanic so I'd imagine it's been looked after in the past too. The only bad thing is the engine management light comes on from time to time (solid - not flashing, so nothing major). It's done this every since we've owned it. I've replaced numerous sensors, had it VAG-Com'd yet it still does it. I'm pretty sure it's got to be just a sticky EGR valve, having been through everything else on the list (about £50 if you wanna replace it, but it's not essential at all). Was last serviced about 500 miles ago at the local VW dealership. CHASSIS: Running on TA Technix coilovers (will go lower if need be). Comes with Lenso BSX alloys, with 195/45s. Ideally the arches will need rolling if you want these to sit proper low, but we never did (as there's speed bumps on the school run). Standard alloys also included. INTERIOR: More yellow! All standard bar CD player The car is located in Rainham Kent. Viewing welcome. £1800 including the Lenso's, £1600 without.
  8. Hey all, I've just bought a 1.0 Arosa, as a cheaper way of getting to work (I was using my V5 Golf before). I find a full tank gets me to work and back exactly 3 times, which is 330 miles. Admittedly I pretty much sit at 60mph there and back though.
