-

Run two amps off same power cable?
nfbr replied to g15m0's topic in Interior and In-Car Entertainment
It will be fine as long as you use a good quality distribution block, and the power cable from the battery to the dist block is nice and thick! Enough to take the current draw of both amps. -
Yep, that's a 2.0TFSI. The 1.4TSI is a ****ing huge engine! everyone seems to think because it's a 1.4 it'll fit in anything... But needless to say, Manifold, Turbo, Supercharger ETC it's one hell of a bulky engine and would be a complete and total cünt to mount up into a lupo! Then you've got the fact it's a canbus engine... Minimum £12,000 spend to do it properly!

MK4 anniversary - Anybody got any experience with these?
nfbr replied to marcusgrant's topic in Automotive Chat
Shouldn't be? Unless they've reverted to putting PD130 cams in 150's now? From what I can make out, the PD130 and 150 bottom end is identical. -

Abuse of the Long-life Servicing schedules which the vast majority of PD150's were sold with... After 12,000 miles the oil separates into thick and thin... like a lava lamp almost. The heavy thick stuff stays at the bottom which means only the lighter thinner oil reaches the top end due to the oil strainer getting nearly blocked. PD100, 115, 130's all use the same amount of lift on the cams. PD150 cams are a higher lift. LOL! -
Get yourself a length of M12x1.50 threaded rod Grind back the thread except for 20mm on one end. Cut the rod down to about 6" long and using a clamp and a pillar drill, make a 6 mm hole in the middle File down the 'none threaded end so it doesn't scratch you or your wheels Hey presto! One 'wheel guide tool'

How is that me who fails? Not my fault the manufacturers don't think it's a valid product worth developing... Not only that there are no performance benefits to re-locating the intercooler further forward into the bumper on a 2.0TDI golf.

so you're telling me you cant get an insurance quote off Make and Model? Strange, everyone else can.

When you did the engine rebuild did you replace the oil pickup pipe? Tapping can be a sign of low oil pressure at the top end of the engine and the oil pickup pipes are prone to becoming somewhat blocked!

Nope, Just those that ended up with jobs in the Police force!

Yeah he ran around the streets making only 90˚ turns and eating large quantities of pills

Half the people on this site won't have the intelligence to understand what you just wrote. However yes, We all laughed and found it funny when there were riots in other European countries such as Greece and France. It's embarrassing to think that most of us would have thought 'That'll never happen here'... I'd like mandatory abortions for the next 10 years please and a block on all future immigration. Not only will this give our country a f*cking break, but it'd probably affect the economy for the better and free up a few more jobs at some point in the future!
