wat are coilovers, and can u fit all this yourself i know shitall about cars and modifications, im just looking to lower my car a bit simply is there a cheap way to lower a car without springs and that maybe at a garage? and does it put up the insurance, especially ive just entered my second year of driving and 18, so its already stupid money? cheers

but surely 30mm wont do all that much for the price of 100 pounds for the springs? or will it make more of a difference than i think all i want to do with my fox is make it look like a standard car whereby it doesnt stand out as 'on stilts'

Will a fox look decent if the car is lowered by just 30mm with no alloys or bigger wheels? isit worth just buying the srpings to lower the car? cheers
