  1. Best colour for a Lupo GTi Why are you concerned about an imported car? Just take a good look at it (as you would do with any second hand car) and if all is good just buy and enjoy!
  2. Not at all really. People here have two sets of tyres / wheels and they use that. Maybe if you go to the mountains you might need chains, but 99% of the time you'll be fine without (on winter tyres tho )
  3. Give me a light car over a heavy one for snowy / icy roads anytime
  4. I've done longer trips than that in a Lupo and it's perfectly doable. I even find it to be quite comfortable
  5. Take them bothto a garage to do the exhaust swap. I wouldn't let it go like that if I were you
  6. Lovely colour. Will you be swapping some bits over from the black one?
  7. Yours should have the 1.6 16v logo as well on the engine cover. Mine's a 2002 car too, October built.
  8. Factory was 205/45 Rich Can't believe you need correcting in this
  9. Nice one! I have an older GTi so mine says 1.6 16v on the engine cover
  10. We need to see the whole car!
  11. Welcome! Check on a couple Facebook groups, lot's of parts come up for sale quite often.
  12. Those always look good. AFAIK apart from the centre rings, there's not another thing you'd need! Get them on and put up some pictures
  13. ^ What he said. Some people have been hoarding them for years
  14. When I did it I took the whole upper door panel off. Just make sure you buy a few new clips as some will invitably break.
  15. Hi and welcome! Good thing to get the Bathursts on again
  16. Good to know! And glad companies are making parts for the GTi's
  17. From what I've seen it's quite thorough. Good job guys
  18. Good progress there Give us some pictures of the Mini!
  19. Please don't go offtopic guys. This is a serious matter.
  20. Refitting the interior? Seats are really easy to change, 30' job tops. The carpet and all the other plastics will be a bit more, but not difficult at all.
  21. They're made of perforated leather on SE models if I'm not mistaken. A GTi interior with black plastics would suit the car
  22. I bet! Spanish VW press GTi's are very easy to spot. They were all specced the same way (flash red, no options, red interior) and had successive number plates
