old pic i know but i cant help it but i cant stop looking at this, awesome so it is! im used to hanging about people with tats central but this is something else!

a wee pic from visiting gerry and getting the tracking done. had to take the wheels off to blow torch the locking nut as it had rusted solid! other than that, i think there must have been an air lock in the cooling system as the coolant warning light came on but its only went down a wee bit so im hoping its just cleared its air lock and needs a top up ( fingers crossed )

yup! lol! oh and forgot to say, ikkle 'rosa set herself on fire on the MOT ramp, the cooling fan burnt out and started to smoke haha! lucky we caught it on time! plan of action is - tracking and alinement needs done - replace cooling fan - pick up new interior and replace - catch Dz with vagcom to see whats up with the central locking - replace door straps - fit new water shedders into the doors - work on advisorys

houston, we have MOT and TAX!!!!! 4 advisorys - slight wear on near side lower suspension bushing - slight wear on offside lower suspension bushing - corrosion starting to appear on rear brake line on near side - exhaust starting to corrode but no defect yet edit - so a new back box and some wishbones are due then, can live with that!

well its been a long time coming, but "Pepper" the Arosa is sitting on the MOT ramp to be tested at 9am tomorow morning... fingers crossed

well i spoke to the SEAT head mechanic and he said that in the sum what 15yrs the arosa from the begining has been out, he has never once heard of the central locking control module packing in. what he has seen loads of times is this happening when a lock is jammed or a snapped check strap damaging the wiring... so with the boot handle being jammed on her car, we are hoping its just that causing it. but on the bright side, a new clean interior for £20

mate ive got a 1litre engine sitting here from a lupo. not really wanting to post cause of the size obv.

well its been since the 17th of October the car has been away and been going as a back project at the garage, the car is now in one piece! the boot now opens, the bonnet latch has been replaced as well and we are now awaiting in line for the MOT ramp!! so hopefully all being well we should have ikkle 'rosa back! on another upnote we have source some clean seats and door cards ( only light grey ) for a total steal! so some clean seats going in as well! so the pick up of the front seats, rear seats, door cards, arch liners and a couple of other bits and bobs should be happening at the end of the week as im on call this week 24x7 from monday to friday

thought i would pop up a wee update, done the rear discs and pads on the car as they were worn right down and a set of Osram Nightbreaker headlight bulbs . I also found a slight vibration at motorway speed but put it down to a wheel weight being missing and the wheels out of balance.... took the car up to my mates tyre shop and spun the wheels up, yeah the car has 4 eggs for wheels... so new wheel time

pmsl! i just like a comfy car these days lol! that and i need something big enough to put my hunting gear in when i go out. I was going to get a freelander TDi but they apparently have a common problem with the rear suspension going on them and the having to spend a fortune on getting it fixed so i passed on that lol!

the amount of extra space you get in the passat compared to my old A4 avant Quattro is ridiculous! the boot is like twice the size and theres more interior space as well !

well managed to sell the A2 and bought myself a wee late crimbo present VW Passat 1.9TDi SE Estate registered November 2005 on a 55 plate 1.9tdi ( yup its only 105bhp for now ) 5 speed box auto wipers auto headlamps cruise control electric handbrake full electric windows Electric seats RCL CD/radio 17" diamond cut alloys the usual ABS and traction control 1 previous owner full service history inc receipts 105k on the clock with the timing belt been done 10k ago it runs as sweet as a nut, was out a wee run the other night and without trying got over 53mpg compaired to the average of 40/45 out of the A2 things needing done, a new set of rear discs and pads and tidy up a couple of stone chips, and possibly refurb the alloys

£1900, need it gone! no space for it

ive tried twice to post it up in the for sale section on the A2OC but for some reason it gets refered to a mod to approve and they never do.... thats the 2 alloys now repainted as well

dropped to £2000 to get it sold. ive been offered this by 2 car buyer companies so thought id offer it to you guys first. my dads pointed out that the bonnet cable needs tightening a wee bit and the fuel filler cap needs a new servo but you can still pop it from in the boot without any problems.

i know mate, it feels like its been on going for longer lol! for every step forwards a new step back appears lol!

hey mate, sorry forgot to update what was going on. Rather than forking out £80 on a new boot handle, i found a brand new one on ebay and made a cheeky offer and got it for £30 by the time it arrived ( should have been wednesday but thanks to crimbo, it arrived on friday ) so its with the garage just now so *should* all boading well be back monday or tuesday

cheers mate ive had 1 person viewing it 10mins ago, another coming in an hour and then another person wanting to travel up from down south so hopefully it will have a new home soon
