Ah... I see / remember. Right... you also have to take off the plastic stuff underneath the door card. See here: This thread will be useful. -

Which side did you look in? Passenger side, yeah? The pipe isnt very bendy or very big so you may have mistaken it for a thick wire. Its black. -

Not just me then!

If it was so effective why didn't Toyota and Volkswagen and the others put it on in the first place?
-
How do you programme it then?
-
That is cool. I've wondered if you could fit a stalk like the new Ibizas (and presumably Polos) have with a switch on the top that controls the intermediate setting by fitting an extra relay. Presumably not if you have done it this way. How easy is it to reprogram? Use VAG COM? Like the ABS switch loom as well. They are brilliant mods.

Pull. Hard. The fuse cover has a diagram on the back that shows what fuse does what. -
This: Funny you should mention the road trip pics - I have got a handful more from a recent journey into Wales. I also took this for you:

Pretty happy with the towing eye covers. I could do a "How To" but its pretty self explanatory when looking at the photos. Its proper boot carpet. The sort of stuff people use to trim sub boxes I think. Its not a perfect colour match but I'd imagine its the closest I'll get. I have easily enough left to do another two seats if you want it? Yep. Nom nom nom. Thanks!

Emma's MK2 Arosa Sport - 'SOLD'. Replaced with Audi TT 225

New spoiler? -
So... I've done a few things over the past couple of months and just getting round to doing a decent set of photos with a proper clean, clay, polish and wax. Not quite there yet but thought I'd show you these: 1. Modified towing eye covers. Shouldn't lose them now when they inevitably pop off in the future! 2. Been done before but carpeted back of rear seats. 3. Mini audio install. Wanted a bit more power for my components up front but didn't want to give up any boot space or put the amp under a seat so I came up with this: Amp and crossovers installed under standard carpet by moving other stuff about and removing battery cover. Crossovers mounted on a custom double decker aluminium platform. 4. New wheels. Need spacers for the rears. More to follow after the aforementioned clean/polish/detail.

The top one I think. It also had a jesus fish in the back window.

Thinking about it, I think it was for a GTI. Sorry! Lupoboz in the trader's section should be your next port of call.

No. The aux belt is not the cam belt. Aux is short for auxiliary meaning the belt drives auxiliary things like the power steering pump and aircon compressor. -

On German plates and I think it was left hand drive. Was it a German or is someone local in the process of importing one? Jon
