i painted the drums and caipers myself and i give them a fresh coat every month.i used red hamerite paint but it takes ages to dry so make sure you have access to a ramp.16" wheels with a low profile tyre.the ride is very bumpy but the looks make up for that.should be having windows tinted soon but might not as it is forsale.

i cant go any lower because of the splitter on the front.the splitter is an absolute lovely person to fit and you need a ramp to fit it.

i have a fox and have put a single din dvd player in and to fill the space you need a pocket from a volkswagen transporter t5 van.halfords will not sell them and try to sell you the pocket for a mk 5 golf which is different.hope this was useful

yes that is the same noise as me and the handbrake light flashes on the dash

has anyone else had a fox with a brake system fault.the light flashes on the dash and it beeps.the fluid level is ok.

a screen should fit into a fox but it needs edges filed down etc.is abit of a fool but looks good.will post pics soon

just ordered an alpine double din dvd headunit for £700.also orderedan apline sub and amp for £300.will fit it soon and post pics

i am going to put 16" wheels on my vw fox.i have had a look on a website on the internet and says the correct tyre size for 16" wheels is 195 45 16.but it says 17" wheels for a fox is 205 40 17.why is this because surley i can fit a 205 45 16 is a 205 40 17 fit????????????????

check the bulbs are located properly as vw bulbs tend to come out or get dislodged in the headlight unit

hi i work at vw in carlisle and the reason for this is beacause the fox is alot higher up that any other vehicle on the road therefore your lights are in there line of view.my fox is lowered so i do not have this problem
