  1. Managed to source a very good condition lupo tailgate badge from a member on here. These are now unavailable from VW.
  2. The b pillars in standard guise are powder coated black, yes. These were painted gloss black by the previous owner, aswell as the wing mirror covers. Hope that clears things up
  3. Now for sale. Pm me for any more details http://www.usedcarsni.com/159506796.
  4. They're gloss black as well. If I was to paint the mirrors silver, I would also get the standard pillar trims
  5. I know that I desperately want it standard looking, but can't bring myself round to painting the mirrors and the pillars. I think the silver tends to look quite plain with silver mirrors.
  6. Thanks for the replies. Yes 4cough thanks for looking. I bought one off eBay but the condition wasn't great. lupoboz, I visited my local dealer before I bought one on eBay and they told me they were unavailable. I would prefer a brand new item or "as new" I know a lot of people would have removed them from their cars for styling reasons.
  7. New rubber. The correct size this time. Toyo t1r's 205/45/15. I am also looking for the "lupo" lettering tailgate badge in as new condition. Pm me
  8. I'm looking for a new, or as new "lupo" tailgate lettering badge. must be not wear or scratches
  9. £12 each mate. I got a set a few months ago
  10. They did. They're pretty rare though
  11. I know it's not too much of a problem, but the other discs all have them. I'll just take another look sometime anyway.
  12. I've just taken the drivers front wheel off my gti. It has the 280mm conversion, however it does not have the retaining screw attaching the disc to the hub. The hub doesn't even seem to have a hole for the screw. I've spun the disc around to find said hole, buying pretty sure it's not there. I'll take the carrier and calliper off some other day to double check this. Does anyone know why there would not be a hole? Could it be an aftermarket hub?
  13. I have for sale a set of rare 16" 7j and 8j Porsche teledials finished in gloss black. They come with 195/40/16 Toyo T1r's which were fitted 1 week before I removed the wheels, so they are like brand new. The wheels re in excellent condition overall. However one of the 8j wheels have a few marks from the tyre fitters, and a bit of previous kerb rash which was repaired by the previous owner. The paint is matched perfectly on this repaired section so it does not detract from the overall appearance of the wheel. I have documented these areas clearly in the photos. The two 7j wheels have no kerb marks at all. There is a very very small mark on the lip of the other 8j wheel. I have filled this in and is very hard to notice. I have included the bolt on adapters converting the porsche 5 stud to VW 4 stud (25mm and 20mm). Wheel bolts are also included along with the original Porsche centre caps which are colour coded to match the wheels. £390 Mikey
  14. Awesome I'll look forward to the updates on this. I'm sure it won't be too long until you're craving a little more power through the corners, though
  15. Thanks, it's a brilliant car that was clearly pampered all its life. There are still a few little things that need done, but they are merely servicing and and for the sake of freshening it up. After raising the car up and putting the standard wheels on, you really notice how well this car can handle and grip
  16. Thanks. I'm very happy with the way it looks now.
