  1. Hello, Sorry the link i used is to club polo so if you aren't a member the pics won't show. Silly me. The link is from when they were on sale on club polo for £480 less than a month ago and ended up being bought for £450. So as said this is £50 less. http://i577.photobuc...1/Photo0122.jpg http://i577.photobuc.../guidepost2.jpg http://i577.photobuc.../guidepost5.jpg These are the wheels the only difference being is that they now have 185/55/13 tyres on the rear. Sit nice and flush on my mk3 polo GT. 7 and 8j staggered set ready to bolt on :-) Hope these links work until i can upload something for you when home.
  2. Thanks a lot. It is an excellent car. I'm actually pretty gutted about it now. Car just got 12 months MOT not needing anything more than a bulb in the rear light cluster. Someone coming to look at the car this Wednesday and so i will update again as to whether the car is still here.
  3. Hello, Set of staggered ATS classics for sale in excellent condition. 13x7 (et20 iirc) and 8J (et 0 iirc), 4x100 pcd. All centre caps present and look like brand new. Wheels have been really well looked after. There are pics and details of when they were purchased here ATS classics for sale They are in the same condition as this and the only difference being that the rear tyres have been changed to a smaller size. Pics at the bottom of the sale thread showing how they sit on a mk3 polo at 80mm front and 60mm rear. Really do look awesome and fill the arches out a treat. The only reason for sale is that unforseen car repairs are needed otherwise i would be keeping them. £400 collected which is £50 less than they cost less than a month ago. Location BD16.
  4. More pics and details as promised. The weather was threatening rain so I gave the car a very, very quick wipe down but the interior was not cleaned or vacuumed. Apologies :-( The car will be cleaned thoroughly and more pics can be taken. I also have the V5 in my name in my posession and it has only had 2 former keepers. Pics!! Interior: Boot with and without cover (it's huge!!): Dash and controls: Engine and EGR delete: Bad points... Mirror crack: The dent mentioned on drivers rear (dfinately could be pushed out by PDR): The only rust to mention (used my thumb to show the size): Only surface rust due to a paint chip. Cheap and easy fix. Scuff mentioned on bumper: All very minor defects and easily fixed just being as thorough as possible. Few other pics of areas and bits and bobs worth showing. Under petrol flap (clean): Badges: MEAN :-): Seen as though everyone loves pics and vids and I was at my dads work (hence the industrial estate) I took a few quick vids to show the car on the move :-) Sorry about the phone quality vids. Doesn't do the looks and sound much justice but hey thought you might like to see. Nice to show how smoke free the car runs as an unhealthy diesel will smoke like a rasta. Quite the stealthy little number :-) The more I clean, drive, photograph and document this car the more I feel like an idiot for doing this.
  5. Hello everyone, Looking at selling my current pride and joy as something i have wanted for a long time has come up and don't have the space for 2 cars If the other car i am looking at disappears before this is sold then i will remove it from sale and keep it. Volkswagen polo variant (estate) 1.9 TDI SE (SE meaning electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, foglights, and a better interior). Metalic green. 78,500 miles, very low for these cars (backed up with pretty much all old MOTs). FSH. Currently has MOT valid until 03/11/11 but can come with a fresh certificate as it will sail through. Engine: 1.9 TDI 90bhp (non PD) engine, Changed all service parts in my ownership including: Oil and oil filter, Gearbox oil (not for any reason just to know that its nice and fresh), air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter. I have all the receipts for the parts bought and it is all genuine VW. Timing belt and alternator belt changed as soon as i bought it with high quality (continental) parts. This was done at a VW specialist garage which i have the receipt for and there is a sticker on the belt cover. Date: 10/11/10, Miles: 68,000. .205 injectors from 110bhp model fitted (power increase and with a remap would see 135-140bhp), Allard alloy EGR delete pipe, PSI tuning shallow, 2 part sump fitted as engine sits really low. The sump was £130+ and was fitted fith OE gasket sealer. See here for sump Clutch and gearbox work faultlessly with no noises or effort required (gear oil replaced with the correct VW oil just to be thorough). Extremely nice to drive. Exterior: Pressed plates front and rear. Stubby ariel. Lamin-x light smoke tint on the headlights and indicators. Lamin-x yeallow tint film on the foglamps. Rear lights have had the casting marks lightly sanded away, then have been lightly tinted and then enamel lacquered by me and the finish is awesome and looks OE (was going for the look of mk4 polo 16V rear lights). The tacky silver rear badges have been removed and thrown away, the 'VW' badge has been replaced by an oversized badge from either the new caddy or similar. I split the badge and silver bit has been plastic primered and then painted satin black. Front 'VW' badge also painted satin black. 'POLO' and 'TDI' badge have been replaced by a mk3 polo badge painted satin black, and a TDI badge from a mk3 golf painted satin black. Front splitter has bene replaced by the deep one from an ibiza GTI (bought brand new from seat) and makes the front end look mean Front windscreen was replaced 3 months ago as the one that was there was chipped. Interior: Being the SE model it has an Electric tilt and slide sunroof which works perfectly, front electric windows which both work (passenger side had a new regulator as soon as i got it), electric adjust/heated mirrors which both work, front foglights that both work. Seats were originally cream and so swapped it out for a black interior from a polo 6N2. I also swapped the seat bases so they retained the tilt and slide function rather than the poverty spec seats which just slide. All the interior is clean and and is a very nice comfortable place to be. Has a brand new pioneer CD/USB headunit fitted. Brand new leather gear gaitor. Suspension and brakes: Coilovers front and back. Nothing special but bought brand new less than a year ago and adjust freely and work just fine. Ride is really good. Full geometry setup done at AWESOME GTI with prinout so you know that it is bang on, runs straight and true and doesn't eat tyres. Pads and discs were changed by the garage before i picked the car up so will be good for a long time. Wheels and tyres: ATS cups 15x7j et28 powdercoated anthracite, brand new centre caps, and brand new set of volkswagen bolt covers. The wheels are in excellent condition!! Tyres are 195/45/15 toyo proxes and they have loads of tread front and back. No camber wear at all due to the proper Geo setup. Rear has FK 15mm bolt to hub, hubcentric spacers which were brand new 5 months ago. Bad points: Crack in the passenger side mirror casing (mirror works and functions perfectly), Very slight scuff on the front bumper, Tiny piece of surace rust due to stone chip (10p sized) on the upper passenger sill by the door (only rust to mention). Few (very few) small scratches/tiny car park dinks (will give the car a good mopping as i'm confident it will make them disappear) Dent on the back drivers corner due to a bloody bin man. The dent is not creased and the paint is intact (no chip or scratch) and would be easily removed by a paintless dent removal company (could possibly have this fixed but dependant on the price). I really am an idiot for selling this car as it has been 100% reliable and i would happily set off round the world in it right now. It has been really well maintained throughout its life and with the very low miles (for one of these) and the care it has had it will be reliable for another 100,000 miles. The car does 45-50mpg urban, 55mpg combined and 65+mpg on a run so is extremely economical. Price: £2150 as is with 12 month MOT, £1850 without the wheels and you bring your own (i would then sell the wheels seperately), £1800 without the wheels or the CD player (saves me buying another). These prices are firm as i think they are extremely fair and i have already knocked £200 from my original price. Prices are fair as they reflect the work carried out and condition of the car (seen ones with over 100K miles sell for more than this standard). No part ex of any kind thankyou. Pictures: Pics on BBS RX 16": Front with splitter and rear with badges: Wheels and spacers: Pic from awesome GTI: (had to have bumper removed as it was too low to get on the geo machine). Pic outside work next to normal vehicles: PM me with any questions and please (to everyone) do not clutter up the for sale thread with comments unless you are interested in the car. Car based BD16. Thanks

  9. SOLD AND GONE :-( Thanks for all the interest. Thread can now be locked. Thanks
  10. Bump to the top.... Someone on club polo added a pic of there car with a set of these they tried on in black.... Tuckin polo Plenty of scope here to get your car sat perfectly.
  11. Keep seeing you darting about and thought i would see if you used this forum. I'm the guy in the polo variant estate that gave you a wave. :-)
  12. I'd rather not split the wheels and tyres as i have no room for the wheels as it is and can't have the tyres hanging around in my dining room. Could always slap the tyres up on edition or the likes and get some money back to buy something a little less chunky? Bump to the top.
  13. Beautiful day bump for some beautiful wheels.
