  1. I have a brand new clutch kit for sale. Got it on sale and never actually replaced it and I've seen sold the car. It's LUK make. Also for free the front small bumper grill that houses the fog lights. Unpainted grey.

  3. Hello everyone, Just had my sdi serviced and the 2nd and 4th gear are kicking out after I let my foot off the gas. I know the clutch needs replacing 2hich I have one Luk for it but haven't changed it yet. Can clutch be responsible for these 2 gears kicking out? Both facing backwards and are now stiffer to change to than before the service. It only has 65k miles so I don't think it could be wear?
  4. For sale a yellow SDI Lupo. X511 UFS. I got it a while ago but I have decided it's not the car for me. It has some rust on the roof gutters and some dents here and there from previous owner. It has 66K miles. I've had it service recently. Changed oil, all the filters, brake pads and discs ( perforated Zimmerman), timing belt ( Gates ), Hepu water pump and I have a LUK clutch for it. It has mot until February if I remember. I will add pics in a bit Feel free to ask me anything that I might have forgot to mention.

  7. I thought they will sandblast it and then treat it with some kind of chemical. I will ask the body shop exactly what they plan to do regarding the rust. Thank you for the information
  8. Well the £2000 quote one said they will treat it. Another one I had for £2700 said the same thing. The thing is I will be away for holidays so I'm not going to be able to pop in and actually see if they treat it or not. I was thinking that , cutting out the rust and welding in a new piece would be the best but it's costly for sure. Thank you for your reply.
  9. I bought it recently and I'm wondering if it worth respraying it to make in look brand new. Serviced and changed everything from discs to timing belt etc but to respray the cost is higher ( the cheapest quote I had was £2000 for full respray).
  10. Forgot to add that there are some rusty spots which will be treated but I guess rust might resurface?

  14. I had an auto electrician on it. Damaged wire. Will ask him more next time I see him.   16. Actually it was a damaged wire and nothing with sensors , ECU etc... All fixed and ready to be rolled out tomorrow

  19. I was thinking £600 Located in Manchester. Electric fault but unknown what the fault is. Throttle pedal doesn't respond
  20. Apologies just had enough and was busy at work. It's a 2000 reg 1.7 S SDI manual, yellow colour. 61000 miles, electric windows, mot until February 2022 If you need any more information let me know.
  21. Unfortunately I have to give up on this car as I don't have the time or money to fix it. There's a fault with it and can't seem to find what it is. It's an Lupo 1.7 S SDI in yellow. Anyone interested pm me. Thank you
  22. Hello again. So I got this Lupo SDI that I bought 2 weeks ago. The first day after I got it while driving the car stopped responding. The engine would be on and idle but the accelerator would not respond. I took it to a garage and they said it's the ECU. They said it shows that you press the pedal half way or full but the signal doesn't go out of the ECU. Now I got a immo off free running ECU that was tested to be working and after placing it in, it still does the same. The guy I got it from said that he has changed the potentiometer but I'm a bit doubtful. But then again if it was that then it wouldn't show through the ECU that you are pressing on it? Any ideas what it might be? The orange coil light is blinking ( diesel engine management).
  23. That's what the garage told me. 0 voltage output from the ECU.
