  1. Hello, I am looking for a black Lupo GTI front bumper, as someone revered into mine and broke some clips etc. Ideally i would like it in black, but will consider other colours if they are in good condition. Thanks!
  2. I'm 50/50 as i ideally need a bigger car but my love of the lupo is holding me back. I will get some pictures up as soon as i get a chance but i assumed it would take a massive hit due to the gear box. I thought if i had a rough idea on value (or even if anyone would want it) it would be easier for me to make a decision either way.
  3. Hello, Last year my Gti was having gearbox issues, luckily i managed to find a replacement 6-speed gear box that has given me a year of trouble free driving. Over the last month i have noticed the same sound as before and the garage has confirmed its the gearbox again. I love my lupo and apart from this and the dash board I've never had any issues with it. I would love to have it repaired but money is now very tight for us. The car is black 2002 and has done 130k it's been looked after (1 other owner, I've had it since 27k), there are no other issues and still drives like a dream. It has general age wear on the paint etc but its in good nick apart from that. It has good tyres (plus 1 spare alloy), cam belt/water pump replaced a couple of months ago, front suspension replaced last year. It's factory standard with no modifications etc.. I would have it repaired tomorrow but it's becoming a pain getting the kid in/out of the car seat with only 3 doors and my partner only works 6 hours a week now hence why i'm thinking of selling and getting a family friendly car. I have no idea what it could be worth in its current state, anyone have a rough guess what i could sell it for?
  4. Both Gearboxes sold and collected
  5. Hello, The 6-speed is sold subject to collecting in a couple of weeks. I still have the 5-speed reduced to £50 if collected.
  6. The casing is fine from memory, i will double check tonight and take a few extra pictures for you
  7. Had a sound that started off like you mentioned, my cat wasn’t interested so in the end the pest control guy replaced the gearbox.
  8. Hello I have 2 lupo Gti gearboxes for sale: 5 Speed (mileage unknown), was sold to me working but I never fitted it so I can’t guarantee this. £70 6 speed (2002 – 99800 miles), gear change was smooth but it did start to make a noise when in 2nd/3rd gear. The garage believed it might be a differential issue, so would need reconditioning. £100 The collection is in Banbury Oxfordshire, if you would like to arrange a courier that’s up to you but I imagine that it will be very expensive due to weight. If you would like both I will do them for £150
  9. Just wanted say that i picked up some parts from Jambro over the weekend and he seems like a genuinely nice bloke. Not had the parts fitted yet (at garage being tested/installed) but externally they seemed in good condition.
  10. How much for the dash console if you still have it?
  11. Camskill still have stock of 205/45R15 toyo's, mine arrived yesterday.
  12. Thought this was funny! Youtube Video ->
  13. Mine has started to do this as well. Sometime it opens first time, other times takes 3 attempts.
  14. I've used them for a wile and never had a problem. I would recommend them
  15. Park it in blackbird leys in Oxfordshire then go and get a pint, the cover will be gone when you get back. The kids seem to like them.
  16. Wow, you must have trained hard to be grappling champion, I love to grapple but I don’t think im very good at the moment. I bet your looking forward to your fight! I’ve not heard of strike and submit but I will have a look at it, I have only done a couple of association internal competitions so far, but I have only been training for about 2 years. I agree belts have a loose link to a persons ability, but I do think they can still be good in the dojo. Especially with kids, gives them goals to work towards and a sense of achievement. We have a student that has studies a little karate and still occasionally reverts to the wide stance and hip punch but always ends up taking a beating hehe. But I guess it depends on the student and teacher to make it affective or not.
  17. I remember my first day at our local capoeira club (only a few months ago), I couldn’t believe how flexible some of them where, I found my first (play) fight a strange experiance but it was all good spirited and fun. I study Jikishin Jujitsu, it’s a combination of tradition and modern techniques but i would say its very self defence based. Our dojo also sometimes has a bleed of other arts included as well as just syllabus work, so we sometimes incorporate a little TKD, Boxing, Judo & Escrima bits into our class. I agree that Capoeira isn’t something I would use in a fight but I do love the relaxed and just fun approach to the normal “do as much damage as possible”. Also I think it has really helped me with balance, coordination and flexibility that has made a difference. Do you study anything Scotty??
  18. My main hobbies are: Jujitsu, Escrima, Capoeira, Squash, Scuba Diving, Japanese Language, Xbox & the violin.
  19. Hi, im looking for a cheap small camcorder and saw this, and it seemed good for its price. Has anyone used it? Or its predecessor as the reviews are mixed. Toshiba Camileo Pro HD
  20. A wile ago I was driving along following a old banger, when I notices what looked like sparks underneath the car. I managed to get the guy to pull over, and his engine bay was on fire. He never said thank you though.
  21. Picked up Lola on Saturday, she is about 8 weeks old and mental!
  22. Chotto izogashii ga genji desu. Liwi-san wa genki desu ka (I think that’s right….) I’m finding it really difficult trying to cramming it all in, there are so many places I want to go to. Currently looking at going to Tokyo, Okinawa, Osaka, Kyoto & Nagano. I think money will be the deciding factor though.
