Hamilton's ok, handy for carry out shops, motorways, etc, I've stayed in Lanarkshire most of my life, they are all much the same. Bothwell was nice but house prices drove us out, no chance of getting what we've now got there! Send me a pic of the A4 would you? Colin.

It is the Trollop's Lupo, Loafy. We moved to Hamilton about 6 weeks ago. I got the rims from Bruce Lee.....BBS Bugatti's, were you driving an A4 ragtop? Colin.

I was just reading the post about the cam belt and it occurred to me, I'm not sure if mine has been changed.. 1.0e Lupo 2001 but only 12,000 miles, should it be changed?

But mine does not have any central locking so I need to get the full locking kit AND remote flip key. Any ideas?

I need to retro fit central locking on a 1.0e Lupo (2001) ideally with a VW "flip" type key Has anyone done this, if so where can I get the kit for it? Colin.

No Import or VAT from Germany or any other EEC member country.

The grille is made of real cheap plastic, mesh included and did not fit perfectly (needed some filing) but looks good on. It was £35 instead of £100 plus for the VAG one.

Just got the 1.0e dropped 40mm, and am fitting 15" by 7" wide rims, can any garage set up the camber and tracking or do I need to go to a specialist (VW)?

I think you will get it at any accessory shop/body shop, it is just a pinstrip afer all.
