Pedal end ??

Jumped in my car today and pressed clutch pedal down and heard a clunk and pedal was floppy first of all I though pedal box issue but after garage looking They soon discovered the clutch cable snapped

Hi all I have a lupo 1.7Sdi which has central locking and also when I open the door with key I have option for windows to open and close but I only have the key not a puss button fob so is there any way I can go from key to push button key

Managed to do air filter I found I had enough room without drilling a hole the old filter wasn’t looking the best so are there any other easy jobs I can do to clean up the engine I’ve done oil and filter and all other filters I have Also today taken trumpets off and clean all of them and the box ect I did atempt the EGR valve but the alley key bolt seams rounded slightly so I’ll get a good quality alley key to try it again

Next job air filter change any info tips or link to this job be great

Fixed it was module thanks guys and only got charged £30 great now interior light comes on and off from door key now and led flashing on door pin again

First tank fuel I had 360 miles that’s without pushing button and most of miles are local runs not much distance per run so works out 127.9 per litre £34 a tank 360 miles =61 mpg

Oh that’s interesting that button is it ok to press every time I fill up and is it located by fuel cap thanks for info on that

Hi all just wounding if anybody has done or can it be done anyway my lupo 1.7 Sdi runs smooth but when waiting at traffic lights ect or in neutral the vibration off engine is noticeable the idle is just below 1000rpm but if I push accelerator so it’s on 1000rpm it feels better so has anybody adjusted it to idle at 1000rpm can it be done just woundered and also would it affect other things then ?

Oh I looked at video and decided to leave it alone lol especially park you take door handle off ect I’ll book it in local garage 😂

Hi all just had oil change and timeing belt kit fitted to my 1.7SDI lupo I got 99.000 miles on clock and car is totally original in great condition I asked the mechanic about blanking off EGR valve and he said why as there is no probs with the car so leave it alone but I’m just curious why he advices me this when most people say it’s better for the car to blank it off so wounded if best to leave it alone or get it blanked off and if people think best to blank off can I have a link how to do it and best place to buy blanking plate all advice appreciated thanks 🙏

Hi all I been busy going around my lupo I replaced interior bulb and number plate bulbs with LED ones nice and bright so I would like to know if anybody has a link for bright clear bulbs for front lights and reverse bulbs

Hi all just after advice I got 1.4sport alloys on my lupo they are a nice flat surface but over time some of them need Tlc so woundering if I can just give a light rub down a spray over and lacquer on top so need to know do I have to prime first as the surface is flat no marks just dull looking also what spray is.closest to Vw spec also grit paper ect all advice appreciated

Hi all I’m new owner of lupo 1.7Sdi S I just filled tank up took about £35 just woundering what range people generally get out of a full Tank I have noticed fuel gauge moves down from top quick for first quarter lol

Prob next step would be take headliner completely out and also after advice on rear drain points do I need to take rear bumper off to locate them all advice really grateful and when I eventually get it sorted it may help others lol

Hi rich if it’s parked uphill all is good but if on downhill that’s when it starts or after being left on flat all day if I turn left into roundabout it’s ok bit if I turn right then water trickles out of front left corner or brake hard at downhill junction

Well I just got in car and it’s been dripping in same corner so I got home opened sunroof up and feed a wire each side and all is clear I then filled the tray up and tested each side with water and all ran out of A pillar drain points great also no leaks on corner headliner now I’m really confused lol it’s testing me I also poured water on top of screen also on the sunroof with no leaks in that corner but when that car has been standing all day in rain and I turn right the left corner drops water which has built up somewhat mmm After doing the above I drove car and when I braked at junction it dropped water again from that corner are there drain holes at the rear or any other drain tunes anything else I can check next

Regarding the EGR when you say on list of jobs do you mean take off and clean

I’ve cleaned my drain hole and tested and water drains out of drain point as in picture about the leak I’ve found is the underside of sunroof black plastic tray towards the inner sunroof the front left corner towards top inner tray situated above the front blue drain pipe anybody know if water should in first place be on top inner tray if so does this side of tray drain. Off to back drain holes sorry anout decription when I say top of tray it’s the part when you open sunroof it’s the first bit of tray you see and the lower part is towards windscreen if this helps lol
