Yes Air con is working. All documentation does confirm mileage is correct and I'd rather set fire to it than sell it for £4500.00

Description including modifications:For sale is my 2002 VW Lupo Gti. This has to be one of the best spec and condition cars on the market today. It has covered 74k with a full service history and last serviced in the last 500 miles, mostly done by VW including the last service.
The car has every MOT, receipt of any work carried out with the car with a massive folder full of information on the car. Not a penny has been spared in the upkeep of this car. It has 4 brand new tyres on the car New Cambelt put on 05/18. It will have a 12 MOT on the car prior selling the car. It has covered 1500 miles since the last MOT as I use it as a show car, and to keep mileage down.
As I said on the Ad this is an VW Press car and believed to be the first 6 speed car in the UK. I have the original VW Driver magazine the car featured in, in 2002 with a 6 page spread about this exact car. It comes also with 2002 Brochure and even VW Lupo branded Matches. Yes Matches! With other Magazines that featured the Lupo Gti,
With it being a Press car it has every option was ticked.
Heated Leather Seated Seats,
CD Player,
Electric Sunroof,
Air Con (re-gassed recently)
Privacy Glass rear windows.
This car must go to an enthusiast. If you're into modifying cars sadly this isn't for you. This Gti is for somebody to keep as stock and appreciated as it is.

Hi Guys.
My Lupo Gti has a slight Aircon problem.
not sure if it needs a re-gas or the pump is gone, but its pumping zero cold air out and it doesn't sound like the compressor is activating when pressing the AirCon button in the car.
anybody got any ideas, as the Aircon pumps are costly and pain to do.

Right guys, great news. After some digging great help from club Lupo and a few emails and phone calls I've tracked down a magazine with my car as a VW Press car. Here is all the pages of the car in the magazine Volkswagen Driver

I've just had a phone call from Volkswagen Driver magazine and they have confirmed that my car was in the November 2002 addition. I'e ordered the magazine and it' in the post. All my Christmases have come at once.
I'm so please I've got this proof that my car is what I thought it is. Will send pictures of the mag when I get it.

Was yours a standard VW unit? If it' in the boot where about would it be. Granted it' not a massive boot, but knowing me I'm missing a secret storage place.

Bit of a daft question here, but the VW CD player that' in my car has a single CD slot on the face, but also has CD Changer option on it and for the life of my I can' work the changer. The manual doesn't help, so can anybody help me on how the CD Changer works.

Ive found time to take the first pages of my Gti service book.
I hope this helps with regards to the car possibly being a VW car.

Not sure myself, it just needed a weld on one of the joints. The back box and the rest of the system was stainless steel and in good order the mechanic said, so happy days. £30 quid insted of silly money for a new system.
Over all he said the car was mint so a slight weight of my shoulders. I've never bought such an old car before.

I've had the exhaust repaid as I write this post £30 slight break in a joint. So I took the opporunity to take some snaps of the underneath of the car. Looks to me very clean, but what do I know?
Tonight if I get a chance I will take further photos of the service book and the paperwork I have for the car.

Exhaust is in order and is being sorted this Friday. As for province I will this week take a picture of all paperwork with the car, it has first owner stamp as VW with an address.
I hope you guys can help me with this car and find out about it and I havn't bought a lemon ?

So after only 12 months of my Lupo ownership I was dieing for a GIT, so after a long long seach I found a Flash Red Gti with fsh, low miles and low owners.
Picked it up yesterday and I bloody love it. Apparently is a VW launch car with every option ticked. Even has a sunroof leather 6 speed, CD a massive file of bills dating back from new. I've named him Larry
!

Ha. I might have bought a gti, already. Going to see one tomorrow on my day off.
This little Lupo of mine has just passed it' MOT only cost me 100 quid to get through. It' a cracking little thing. I've always liked the Lupo and after having this one for over 12 months I think it' a cracking car so I'm keen for a Gti now.

Yeah ive got a few of the interior, I will snap the engine bay for you aswell. Its mint, but I really want a GTI.

Quite a lot of work to be done on that little car. should do a YouTube video documenting the build.
