Hi all I'm looking to get spacers for my Gti.

I'm currently running BBS RC's 16" and want to know what spacer size I need..

I read that 20mm rear and 10mm front is good.. is this correct?

Tyre size is 195/40/16

I had an s2000 import from Japan and it was/is not at all rusty underneath despite being here since 2007!

That a myth that JDM cars are not sufficiently sealed underneath.

I ended up swapping headunit and it picked up the CD player then. 

Never figured out what was what though.. second hand gammas are cheap

Mr Tacho, yes I can do a 1.8T Lupo conversion, but it'll cost you £4000 in labour based on my charge-out rate of £35/hr.  It's barely even worth my time for that money to be honest, as it's such a huge job. Around 120-150 hours to properly build one. If you want a quick car, buy a Mk5 Edition 30 DSG and map it.

Is the 1.8t the engine conversion of choice still? I kinda want to see what's involved so I can show my mechanic mate and just pay him to sort it for me!
