  1. ive got a few questions here and i think someone here could answer them so here goe's is it possible to drop a 1.8/2,0 turbo engine in the arosa from say a seat leon or VW passat or something any idea's on getting rid of the sticky resin thats been left behind by the door trims? im thinking of using the stuff they use too take off adverts from vans and bus's but not sure if there's something better than that? weird whinning noise coming from my engine bay,i fear that its on its last legs as it has done 117,000+ not sure if it's some bearing or something but the faster i go,the louder it gets doe's anyone know where i can get my steelie's banded? (glasgow area)
  2. i seen a forum on here the other day about guy asking if it was possible too turbo the 1.0L arosa,i think the lupo uses the same engine how ever im not sure as the engine in mine is from a polo so i'd check there, also checking in at a local tuning shop will get you some info aswell as where too get parts for tuning it
  3. i feel bad for my arosa now,ive got the sqaure dash in mine lol
  4. well if you decide too break it in the future,i'd love that dash lol,is it the original?
  5. the car is going too get its gearbox and engine oil changed soon as the engine doe's need it,the gears are difficult all the time however today when i went in to replace my gator,it became a little more smooth and not hard too get in(replaced gator as previous owner had ripped it plus it was in bad shape) the bite point i'll have too check that when i get home from work tonight,i can get all gears with the engine running
  6. well i can get it into every gear in order with engine off etc,no cracks in the pedal box,any other suggestions? as its starting to get harder too drive as it takes at least 10 seconds+ too get too the next gear while driving
  7. so i recently bought myself a 1998 Arosa and well the car is F***** passed an M.O.T with some welding and bulbs however i started to realise the gearbox was getting stiffer and alot harder too get in too gear,i had the selectors check and there fine, clutch is fine too,so before i go out and buy a whole new box,im praying someone could maybe shed some light on it? cheers guys
