  1. If I was closer with a legal lupo I'd well be on this. However a long drive and a TT. . . . Good mpg though.
  2. You still need that GTi in your life. Purple or not.
  3. Frank, stop procrastinating and put your hand in your pocket and just get the whole thing. Least you'll have one and you'll know and then you can take the GTi love from there.

  5. No, frank will be along to explain it soon.
  6. It doesn't have to damage if you cut it out yourself carefully.
  7. Welcome back Wtf?
  8. I used to use a hammer but now I just use the fly press. I love jobs that involve the fly press.
  9. Hahahaha, I was simply taking the piss Have a TT pic as thanks
  10. I don't know why more just don't do this.
  11. It can be done from above if you have to. Sounds like a crank sensor but you should also see if there's a hot relay when it happens.
  12. TT bits are so nice I indulged myself in a TT after my lupo TDI.
  13. If you're already invested I'd suggest investing a little bit more.
  14. I'm wise enough to see through the pics. You need the plastic stops for when the seat snaps back ?
  15. I'd agree, the teeth go and the plastic goes and the chain snaps. I doubt oil would make a difference and I did note that there doesn't appear to be any specific orientation for the weight which is worrying.
  16. No problems with arosa/lupo gen so they must have ruined something by the later gen.
  17. Early arosa tdi engines like going in 9n3s with chain failure.
  18. Danno is the least grumpy he has ever been, something must have happened to make him happy.
  19. I had to change a fifth gear with a chip in a tooth, all I can say is the symptoms were that it popped out every rotation but the passenger could hold it in with their foot.
