  1. If they're cheap & it makes life easier Sanj, do it. Join the revolution on CP to get me posting rights again !
  2. I popped an inner CV whilst giving mine death a few weeks ago. Replaced the CV. Too many people taking the easy option of doing the whole shaft.
  3. I have a mate who works for Autoglass and will fit you one for £130. If I arrange it for you, I want a beer at some point.
  4. Right, a list of faults specific to the TDI. It'll sound like a tank, a three cylinder diesel is always going to have a bit of an unbalanced knock about it. If it hasn't had regullar oil changes, it's not going to be too clever. SH is important. If you go for a test drive, check the turbo kicks in between 2500 and 3500 ish revs. Check the box is good, no crunches or that kinda thing, clutch slip, etc. . . I've got one and I absolutely love the thing, so economical. Cleaned the boost pipes and the intake (was HELLA filthy) and it's all running sweetly. If you're after mods, the first one may not have a GTI interior fitted, 51 is the right age for a TDI sport. As for the second, if they're bad tints and bad wheels, they can't afford decent mods so they're not going to have looked after it.
  5. I'd go look at each of them and see then. Can't tell from the details alone. Stop being so ....... lazy.
  6. Having seen it, it needs a few bits of trim, nothing expensive and for 1800 it's well worth it. AAS exhaust, FK coils, tombstones., functional working install. Hmmmm.
  7. I'm not saying it's lost timing, I'm saying pop the cover off and check the belts are still intact.
  8. Lupo only. If you're after discs, GTI or sport.
  9. I don't use the paste option, I press ctrl + V.
  10. Standard struts won't be overly clever with 60mm springs. Buy a cheap shock/spring combo kit.
  11. I really wish I'd come up with that idea. £412 for return flights to St. Petersburg on travel supermarket.com. That's so cheap I may go to Russia at some point.
  12. Or the picture is just blank untill you click to get the full size, then the preview appears ?
  13. You're seriously considering putting an allen key bit in a drill to remove one of the simplest bolts on your engine? I'm not even bothering to offer an alternative, you should do it and let us know how it goes.
