  1. I got mine from vw but then I haven't used it since I fitted them years ago.
  2. So I need to find a 6n ball joint and a GTi ball joint and compare ?
  3. I did mine on the fly press. It worked beautifully and it took longer to get the rotten knuckle off. £12 bearing at euros.
  4. Mk4 golf alloys 9n /9n3 polo ones. Mostly any 5 stud VW wheels which are 5x100 pcd. Commiserations on the fox love.
  5. I've got a mk3 restoration project for sale. Three door mulberry highline, original.
  6. Ha, it hasn't seen daylight in a decade and it is pretty covered if I had to be honest.
  7. Nice blue five door 1.3 with some chrome bits Would look well together ....
  8. I couldn't get away with it. Plus the fox like stance. Not for me, inferior oil pump chains.
  9. I've always had an A2 curiousity but they're just so ugly.
  10. I'm not posting but I can do you a BCA absolutely no problem.
  11. I have a crispy outside unit anthracite. They're not rare.
  12. Aht isn't an engine here. Frank loves one though. I'd suggest the crank or engine speed sensor if it has one.
  13. Welding a bit of sill is hardly saving.
  14. I didn't even know the 1.4 had a light. Mine certainly didn't as it never came on.

    Advice please.

I wouldn't worry about height and versatility of space in a lupo. I'd also suggest an sdi lupo, the cost of fuel and tax will more than balance out the little more you'll have to pay.
  16. I used up my capacity for free storage here.
  17. Fitted a standard stereo in it earlier. Going to do a rear spring on it later and have a look at the rear beam. Updates went with the ability of free pictures.
  18. It's all risk isn't it. Take your chances or don't. Your call, I'm not vindicating anything.
  19. This is my daily car now. The TT gearbox and it's selector aren't friends anymore and it just sits broken and dirty behind work. The lupo, it is super shiny and is currently being the best it can be. Did a wheel bearing last night, getting the knuckle off was a lovely person and the circlip was too thick that came with the £11.90 ecp bearing. Same on the previous bearing fitted, they had bashed it in as best they could but they disturbed the bearing seal. I used the belt grinder and took some off until it was all nice and snug. 97k soon, after seeing how many miles I get from 20 litres and then I am going to unplug the Speedo.
  20. You are red now. Like the sith. . . .
