  1. Why do you want to remove it? (speakers are quite hard to do unless you have done them befor you need addaptors for them)It's quite a job (getting it back on)

You will need a few star keys to get it off and a bit of force, there are star head screws on the bottom, sides (!) and center (not quite sure as I am not with my car)

you have to remove these about 6 I think then unclip the top edge, you can not remove the door card compleatly if you have electric windows unless you disconnect them (if you have windy windows then you will need to take the top cover off (if there is one) then undo the star head screw and the handel should come off.

beaware of the door lock when removing and refitting as I did not get mine back quite right and had to pull the door card off again.

I will take a look at my car when I get home and update you (I love mobile broadband).

    hope this helps

  2. Go park near a tree for a few hours and see what life without a rear wiper is like?

A rear wiper was a luxury on an early 1990's (and earlier) cars, now quite a lot of companies put them there because when it rains or you park under a tree.

  3. No the reason no one is selling cars is because they a to££ers selling them. I want a new car so went to VW after 3 hours they told me I had no chance of getting what I wanted (26 week wait and they weren't interested in giving me a deal). Fiat ( hiss hiss but they make decent cars and I want a change) still did not want to give me a deal.

Assholes I would have got a new car if they would give me anywhere near the deal I wanted.

  4. It is not group one insurance after you stick some stupidly big alloys on, no young person will get insured in it or it will cost ££££. The plates are show plates (no bs number, no postcoad of the maker, VW badge on the side) you get pulled with them £50 on the spot fine (lovely for a new driver).

GTI badges belong on cars with powerful engines like a Lupo GTI. (although the 1.2 is quite good for a 1.2)

  5. THE 1.2 ENGINE IS NOT SLOW IT HAS GRUNT AND PULLS IN ALL GEARS. IF THE EXCELLENT VW GEARBOX IS USED CORRECTLY IT WILL BEAT MANY CARS IN ITS CLASS, IT IS ALSO THE BIGGEST AND MOST PRACTICAL IN ITS CLASS.

ALLOYS WOULD BE NICE THE STEELS LOOK OK.

IF YOU PUT IT NEXT TO A CITROEN C1 IT LOOKS GOOD.

ALSO IT WILL DO MOTORWAY MILES WITH NO PROBLEM AT ALL.

    I LIKE IT.

  6. Hi I have been pondering for sometime, I want an other car but with extras.

So I configured a Fox with every thing I would want,

Fox 1.2 (good engine why change) Urban +

    Black / Blue pearl paint

"14 Parana alloys (they look the biz)

Winter pack (heated seats and washer jets)

ESP (I think it is a damn good system and I think it is the cheapest way to get it)

Luxury pack 1 (electrically adjustable heated wing mirrors)

And the servicing plan they are offering currently

So what do you think. I looked at the Polo but it is much more expensive to start with and all you get extra is air con (a ripoff as it will eat power from the 1.2 units).

    Thanks peeps

  7. People like you give the Fox a bad name :furious::yes::furious: .

With your 1.4 match Polo with all the toys  , the fox is cracking for what it dose for the money, the engine is good it won't be as quick as a 1.4 VW unit (depending on who is driving :ninja: ). However it can go on the motorway very well, for the price it is very good  .

Please depart this place and post negative comments in a separate thread.

O yer why is such a new car in the garage?
