  1. Hi guys My sister's GTI has started misfiring, plugged it in and it's brought up 0204 and 0304 leading us to believe it's an injector problem. I have available a few 1.4 injectors, do they fit and work the same? Could be worth a try if they're compatible. Cheers, James
  2. I can remember when I posted on here asking for second hand coilovers, everyone p*ssed and moaned that they'd go pop in 2 weeks, I've been driving on my joms since April and they've been no problem whatsoever, still adjust fine and don't leak at all. £100 well spent I think, Just goes to show when you stop being a keyboard warrior, get out there and do it for yourself you'll do alright
  3. It's just a daily that I wouldn't mind running slightly lower than the 60mm springs that are on it now, yes brand new coilies would be ideal but I'd rather save the £80-£90 and spend it on the Hillman Imp I'm currently building, if they go pop I'll let you know and you will all be more than welcome to say "we told you so". Anyway, I'm an apprentice at Sporting and historic engineers and have been heavily involved with the building of a 512S, a 250 Cali, and more recently a 365 Daytona competition car which will be competing in the tour auto in France. I will get some pictures for you all. Come on, I'm an apprentice and I work 1 day a week at Mcd's to make up some extra car funds, of course I'm going to roll in something as cheap as a 99 lupo
  4. Doesn't mean I earn multi millions
  5. I mean if you're that bothered feel more than welcome to buy me some, I'm more than capable of fitting a set of coilovers considering I've built more than a few multi million pound Ferraris for the race team I work with..
  6. So you're saying after about 3-4 months you should replace your coilovers? Because I can't see the problem in taking 3 month old coilovers off of one car and fitting them to another, or am I missing something? I'm currently building another car that I'm spending money on so getting this low for an amount that won't rinse me is the priority.
  7. Hi everyone Looking for a cheap set of coilies for my 1.4 lupo, don't mind if they're not the best condition/brand, as long as they adjust and work as they should. I'm located in Milton keynes. Cheers, James
