  1. Control arm doesn't look visibly bent. So please tell me Volkswagen isn't febel enough to make the lower control arm stronger than the subframe... If so I'll never be buying a VW again.
  2. Took a closer look today and the front left wheel is definitely pushed back and toe'd out from all the caster. (Causing my alignment and rubbing issue) going to put the car on a lift tomorrow but does anyone know what might be a likely point of failure here? Bent control arm or bushing failure?
  3. Owned a Datsun 280zx, a Datsun 710 wagon, and 5 other S-chassis but these were my most recents. Daily driver was stolen from me 2 months before I left. This was my track car, SR20, 100% adjustable suspension with all solid bushes, completely striped of unnecessary weight. Sold it but should have shipped it over. :/ Also had an e46 330ci project that I didn't get to finish and sold.
  4. Hello! Just stationed in Italy two weeks ago, originally from the U.S., picked up my 1.0 a week ago and a few days later ordered coilovers haha. Hopefully the TA Techtronix aren't too horrible considering the cheap price. Was wondering if you all have a thread with pictures of lowered lupos and corresponding wheel/tire specifications? I have a friend in Japan who can send me my pick of the litter of wheels from Japan with free shipping, just need to know what size range/ offset I'm playing with. Thank you for your time!
  5. Hello! Just ordered coilovers for my 2000 Lupo 1.0 that I bought used but figured I would see if I can fix an issue now before it becomes a bigger issue when I'm lowered. Having the issue of with stock set up of the tire rubbing the passenger side inner arch in reverse while turning. Liner seems like it's not pulled out to exaggerate the effect, so I wondering how easy it is for a control arm to be bent on a lupo? (As I do have a slight alignment issue) if these cars have factory castor adjustment then I shouldn't have an issue, any one familiar with aligning their own car and know if that can be done? Any insight to the situation would be greatly appreciated! Ciao.
