How did you manage it? I tried getting mine in with just the front wheel off and ended up just giving up on it.

Yeah I've looked on Ebay and a couple of groups on Facebook, they mostly seem to have been put on polo's as an upgrade to the 15' version from what I can see. Cheer's mate, I'll have a look at it at weekend. Did have a quick look and the passenger side is far far more gunked up and rusty than the driver's side, which is to be expected I suppose...Any rate, it should be fun. After all who doesn't love battling rusted up bolts/threads!

Finally after two years got around to fitting a new front arch liner! Removed a nice moist compost mound from behind it aswell. How does it even get behind there?! Need to remove the other side and have a look now! Got some Bilt Hamber snow foam aswell so I can just give the car a quick rinse instead of a full clean to fight the winter grime! don't know why I didn't invest years ago! Got a question aswell. Anyone know what size the bolt is on the track rod end, the one that goes on the inner rod?

So I got a new steering wheel.. Not 100% sure If i'm going to keep it, but I do like it! And got my hand's on a second hand Janspeed catback so had that put on aswell, still sits a bit low though, think it's down to the rubber hangers being a bit stretched and old.

I managed to get one of these second hand so I no longer need one But I have just had an email from Janspeed saying that due to demand they are going to make a batch of 5. So if anybody is still looking for one it might be worth getting in contact with them!

Can anyone with a GTI tell me or show me what type mounting bracket goes on the back left nearest the wheel that the backbox attaches to? Mine appears to have come off so my exhaust hangs a bit lower than it should do.

Yeah but the actual ends are slightly wider so they can fit into each other aren't they. I went for 51-55mm anyway and they fit so all is good Just need to get the old exhaust off now, ergh

Just bought a second hand janspeed exhaust for my gti, just wondering how many and what size clamps I need for it? It has one still on it where you join the back box and centre but it is pretty rusty and knackered looking so I would rather get some new ones seeing as they are cheap. Am I right in thinking I would need the 51-55mm ones? Also how easy is it to fit, like what else would I need? Contemplating doing it myself but I couldn't find any guide or anything on here.

Anyone know where I can get one? My exhaust is on its way out and I figured this would be my best option .Thing is I can't seem to find anywhere online that stocks them. Mainly just finding scorpion systems but I don't like the single pipe exit. Dunno what my other options would be really.
